- A WEATHER BALLOON is named after the excuse that Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) are actually just a weather balloon, often used in denial of their existence.
- Its description mentions swamp gas, which is another excuse used in the denial of the existence of UFOs. It also seems to be a reference to a quote from the 1997 film Men in Black.
