Air Royale is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced on 17th April, 2019.
LTM Rules and Gameplay[]
In this LTM, all players will fight in an X-4 Stormwing, while destroying opponents planes. If a player lands on the ground, they will instantly be eliminated. Additionally, there is no Battle Bus in this LTM.
The storm circles are larger than usual, which is to make space for warfare between X-4 Stormwings. The storm also has an exclusive ceiling, which damages the plane, but not the players.
Each X-4 Stormwing has 3 lives. Players will respawn until the plane loses its last life. Each plane has 6 different attacks. Below is a list of all the possible attacks that a plane has.
- Normal Attack. Deals 40 damage.
- Grenade Launcher. Found from Common Loot Rings.
- Rocket Launcher. Found from Uncommon Loot Rings.
- Ice Blast. Found from Rare Loot Rings. Ice Blasts slow down an X4 Stormwing when hit.
- Poison Laser. Found from Epic Loot Rings. Poison Lasers poison the X4 Stormwing, causing it to take overtime damage.
- Fiery Laser. Found from Legendary Loot Rings. Fiery Lasers do the same as the Poison Lasers, except powerful to one-shot an enemy and the overtime damage lasts a lot longer.

In this LTM, always fight back when another plane attacks your plane. If you do not do this, the other plane will most likely end up destroying yours.
