The Alien Knockgun Launcher is an Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 7 exclusively for the Experiment.

Functionality[]

The Alien Knockgun Launcher shoots a fast-moving electric ball projectile. It explodes on impact, knocking back opponents within a certain radius. This renders them temporarily stunned. If the player knocks themselves back with the Alien Knockgun Launcher, they do not get stunned, allowing for a "blast jump" that launches the player much further than a standard jump.

The Alien Knockback Launcher is a projectile weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

As of Update v18.00, Alien Knockgun Launcher can not currently be obtained in Battle Royale and Zero Build as it has been vaulted.

Trivia[]

The Alien Knockgun Launcher's model is repurposed from the Pulsar 9000 Shotgun from Save The World. With a unique silver and metallic purple paint scheme to better match The Last Reality's weapon design.
Despite having an internal damage value, the Alien Knockgun Launcher cannot deal damage to other players in the Mothership, due to damage not occurring at all in the experiment.
The only way to view the Alien Knockgun Launcher stats in the inventory is by opening the inventory tab before the player is teleported into the Mothership’s cell.
The Alien Knockgun Launcher has an in-game description, despite not normally being able to view it in the inventory. The description lacks punctuation and is incredibly simple, so it's likely that it's a placeholder.
When playing team modes, it is possible to keep the Alien Knockgun Launcher, as well as the Alien Jetpack, outside of the Mothership via a glitch.
- It will not deal damage and its knock back ability will not grant a low-gravity effect.
