The All Terrain Kart (Also known as the ATK) is a Vehicle in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Season 5.
Functionality[]
The All Terrain Kart seats four players, consisting of one driver and three passengers. The driver has full control the vehicle, and is able to drive forwards, reverse, brake and also drift (by using the handbrake whilst moving forwards). The handbrake enables the driver to build up a charge, which the longer it is held, the larger the speed boost the kart receives. This is known as 'Power-sliding'. Whilst in the air, the driver can build up 'trick score'. This has no effect aside from visuals, and a notification in the elimination feed. The ATK does not work in water. The driver is also able to honk the horn of the vehicle.
The passengers can shoot, heal, emote and crouch whilst on a seat of the ATK. If seats are available, they can freely switch between them, in a clockwise motion. Players in the back seat can lean backwards to allow the kart to have a greater air time, allowing for longer distances covered. This is done by holding the 'move backwards' key when in the rear seats. If a player jumps on the roof of an ATK, it will prevent fall damage and give a small boost to jump height. The boost given after this jump still enables fall damage.
Obtained[]
The All Terrain Kart could have been found at various locations across the Apollo map. They had a very low spawn rate.
Strategy Guide[]
- The All Terrain Kart can be used to allow a squad member to heal while also keeping them moving from something like The Storm.
- The All Terrain Kart should be used to traverse the map faster, however, the noise from the vehicle will alert opponents to your location.

Trivia[]
- The All Terrain Kart's power-slide, as well as its namesake, are likely both references to the Mario Kart series. The series of games uses Karts for races, and the player is able to build up a speed boost charge by power-sliding around corners.
- The All Terrain Kart resembles a Golf Cart, which is likely why it was added the same time as Lazy Links.
