Transforms any building piece into a reinforced barrier. Good luck getting through this...
— In-Game Description

The Armored Wall is a Trap in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Chapter 2: Season 8.

Functionality[]

An Armored Wall can be placed on builds to provide an armored surface, with 2,500 Health. Upon placement, the structure can no longer be edited. The wall can also be created straight from the trap, but the placement is much harder to navigate. Armored Walls can only be placed on flat surfaces, meaning no pyramids, no edited walls, edited ceilings or edited floors.

Strategy Guide[]

Calculated - Emote - Fortnite This section outlines a strategy.
Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.
  • It is best to place Armored Walls on the sides you are not firing at targets, as you cannot make edits to Armored Walls.
  • Place Armored Walls on a side you are most vulnerable to taking fire, or on sides you are already being shot from.
  • Players who have created a box of armored walls can be easy targets, as a well placed Grenade or Firefly Jar can trap the opponent and cause them to take significant damage.

Trivia[]

  • When a player destroys an Armored Wall, a bunch of outlines of signs will fade out, meaning it likely reuses assets of Metal structures.
  • The Armored Wall is the only trap which is stored in the trap slot to have a maximum stack that can be carried.
