- The fact that Ash has his right hand and the Chainsaw Hand in the game simultaneously doesn't really make sense in Evil Dead's canon, since he would already have sawed it off by the time he's modified the chainsaw to use as a replacement.

- Ash's comment when purchasing a Lever Action Shotgun from him comes from a quote he said in Evil Dead II. "Old double-barrel here, blow your butts to Kingdom Come!"
- Ash's comment when requesting a patch up from him is a reference to his severed hand in Evil Dead II.
- Ash's reaction to himself is a reference to Evil Ash in Army of Darkness.
- Ash's reaction to Spider-Gwen is a reference to Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, in which Bruce Campbell (who played Ash Williams in the Evil Dead saga) plays a ring announcer.
- Sam Raimi is also the creator of the Evil Dead franchise.
