Chapter 4 Island, also known under the code-name Asteria, was the Fortnite: Battle Royale map used in Chapter 4 (Chapter 4: Season 1 - Chapter 4: Season 4). It was created through merging the remains of Artemis and Apollo with bits of other realities. The name continues the trend of naming the map after Greek Deities beginning with 'A'.
Storyline
Asteria was created by merging the remains of Reality Zero with pieces from other realities after the Fracture event. Among the pieces of land brought and fused into the new island was The Citadel, a medieval castle from another reality ruled by the Oathbound, who later took over the Island during Chapter 4: Season 1.
Asteria's lifespan was limited however, as the vital energy that maintained it was not infinite, and slowly fading over time. Upon noticing this, a horde of enemies began targeting Asteria. With clues given by Optimus Prime and The Ancients, Slone hatches a plan to escape— requiring Kado Thorne's Time Machine.
After successfully stealing the machine, Jones used it to travel back to 2018's state of Athena during Chapter 4: Season OG, with the aim of using the Black Hole to trigger a new Big Bang, creating fresh realities where the inhabitants of Reality Zero could find refuge, ultimately leaving Asteria unplayable.
In Remix: The Finale, it was implied that Asteria had been destroyed along with The Zero Point sometime after.

History
Chapter 3: Season 4
- Fracture: Fragments of the Asteria island were pulled over to Reality Zero and forged together by the Zero Point. The Zero Point went through a silicification process and became petrified.
Chapter 4: Season 1
- Update v23.00: The island became accessible.
- Update v23.10: Crackshot's Cabin was pulled back to the island.
- Update v23.20: The atmosphere under the island became thicker. Three groups of seven stars have appeared near the island.
Chapter 4: Season 2
- Update v24.00: A new Evergreen Biome is rifted onto the island, and is now located at the south-eastern side of the map, making the map slightly larger than it was previously. In order to make room for the new Points of Interest, Faulty Splits and part of the area south of Slappy Shores have been removed.
- Update v24.20: Large cracks have formed around the Evergreen Biome.
- Update v24.30: The Rumbles begins.
Chapter 4: Season 3
- Update v25.00: Central areas of the island cracked open and collapsed, revealing the Jungle Biome beneath. The power of the Zero Point that flowed through the island has faded.
Chapter 4: Season 4
- Update v26.00: Kado Thorne arrives on Asteria due to The Eclipse. He makes the island his home, draining the island's wealth and treasures for funding luxurious properties: Eclipsed Estate, Relentless Retreat, and Sanguine Suites.
- Update v26.30: The Eclipse event began.
Chapter 4: Season OG
- Update v27.00: The Eclipse event ended, and Asteria became inaccessible. What happened to Asteria after The Big Bang remains unclear, but it likely collapsed as Optimus Prime and several other Characters had previously warned. However, those on the island were able to escape, and find new worlds to live in among the galaxies freshly created by The Big Bang. The island is implied to have been destroyed offscreen along with The Zero Point in Remix: The Final

Trivia
- Asteria is the Greek goddess of celestial bodies and the stars. She is the aunt of Apollo and Artemis.
- The story of Chapter 4 revolves around the stars.
- This is the first Island where the Spawn Island is located in outer space, and not near the main Island.
- This is the first map to not feature a returning named location.
- However, there are elements from previous chapters: Cuddle Cross Track has the Cuddle Team Leader head from Rave Cave, Beached Bit contains the drill from The Fortress/Drill Hill, The Herald Tree is the remains of the Reality Tree, and Cold Cavern contains the clock tower from Tilted Towers.
- This is the first island without the Containment Field, although there is still a fake sky accompanied by both a fake Sun and Moon, only visible within the island.
- The Oathbound was considered as the ruling faction of Asteria.
- The Oathbound owned the whole Medieval Biome, as well as Frenzy Fields and its surroundings.
- However, several domains do not belong to Oathbound: notably the Ice Biome, ruled by Snowheart, the Teal Foothills Biome ruled by MEGA City's Syndicates, and Rainforest Biome ruled by no one.
- This is the first island to not have a Live Event, with The Big Bang being on Chapter 4: Season OG's island.
