Backpack Minigun is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that is currently unreleased.
Functionality[]
Backpack Minigun has no magazine limit, fires much faster than other assault weapons, and unlike the Minigun it has no cooldown or spin up time.[1] Backpack Minigun is not very accurate, and has a spin up timer, which means the player cannot fire it instantly.
Backpack Minigun is a Hitscan weapon, doesn't have First Shot Accuracy enabled, and will always fire a random spread of bullets, which increases with continuous fire, this spread is decreased whilst crouching

- Backpack Minigun is speculated that it was supposed to release in Chapter 4: Season 3 stemming from the "Chrono" codename which is also used with other guns from the same season such as the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle and the Sharp Tooth Shotgun.
- Backpack Minigun functions similarly to the Goin' Commando!!! Soldier Ability from Save the World.
