— Description

Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point Issue 2 is a Comic introduced in Chapter 2: Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale, as part of the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point.

Summary[]

Batman wakes up on the island, without any memory of who he is. As he begins to figure out the messages he left for himself, he gets attacked by Ruckus but manages to take him down. He heads over to a shack where he left more clues for himself and decides to find Catwoman. He later finds Catwoman fighting off against a few loopers. Just as Batman joins in, Catwoman starts fighting him. However, the storm begins to close in. Batman hands her a batarang to remind her that he is friendly.

As the second loop begins, Batman exits his shack to find Catwoman waiting for him. They begin to explore the island together to get a better understanding of it. However, as they both make it to land, Catwoman gets shot. This angers Batman and he begins to attack the loopers that shot Catwoman. As the storm begins to close in again, Batman figures out that feelings toward another can carry over to the next storm cycle.

Batman and Catwoman continue to explore the island, eventually heading to the top of Steamy Stacks. As he examines the area, he notices Harley Quinn fighting off against a group of loopers. Batman and Catwoman decide to try and recruit her to their group. They fight against the loopers and then try to convince Harley to join them. However, Harley refuses and instead headbutts Batman off the stairs. The storms begins closing in and Batman manages to leave a reminder about the storm being the key.

Batman and Catwoman decide to figure out how the movement of the storm works. They head over to the center of the storm. Batman doesn't understand how it works but Catwoman gets the idea to use one of Batman's gadgets and place it in the center to see if it stays in the next cycle. This is proven true as they both find the gadget where it was left in the same condition. They both head over to the center and try to find out what happens to them when the storm closes in.

Batman believes that the safe zone isn't big enough for both of them so he decides to have Catwoman wait in the center and walk into the storm. As Batman begins to feel the pain, he notices a shimmer around Catwoman and realizes that only one person can leave. They both fight their way to the center and as the storms begins to close in, Batman hands Catwoman a knife to see if the last person has to be alive. They both kiss each other before Batman gets stabbed. As he begins to fall down, Catwoman successfully escapes the loop. Batman wakes up on his own again, with no memory of who he is. However, Ruckus returns to fight and the issue ends with Batman fighting him yet again.
