Strategy Guide[]
- Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun is most effective in Zero Build playlists due to its high accuracy and fire rate, but suffers against structures making it unsuited for building playlists
- Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun is most effective at medium range, although its high accuracy makes it viable at any range if necessary.
- Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun could be used as a substitute for an assault rifle, especially if you're carrying a sniper rifle and a high fire-rate shotgun.
- Unlike other SMGs, Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun is not an effective combo with a high-damage shotgun due to its charge-up time.
- Since Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun uses an infinite ammo reserve, it can be very effective in the early game since you don't have to worry about running out of ammo.
- Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun only begins to have recoil when its close to overheating. As such, its often best to let it cool down a little before continuing fire to prevent the long cooldown.
