Birthday Presents! are a Utility Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was introduced for Fortnite's 2nd Anniversary during Season 9.
Functionality[]
Birthday Presents! are thrown at a location to spawn a 1x1x1 tile present, replacing any surrounding structures. Inside the present is a loot item of Epic or Legendary rarity and the Birthday Medallion.

Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.- Birthday Presents can be used to hide inside of, as throwing one on top of yourself will put you in a structure with no entrance or way to see inside of.
- Birthday Presents can also be trapped easily by keeping the loot available and placing a trap on a surface (ideally the roof) to eliminate unsuspecting players.
- If you obtain a Birthday Present during the late stages of the game, you could use the present box to temporarily trap opponents in the storm as it starts to move.
- Upon obtaining a Birthday Present, it's usually best to throw it down and take the items inside rather than carry it around. Other items, such as Port-A-Bunkers and Port-A-Forts work much better as portable cover items.
