The Blade Blaster is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 6: Season 4.

Functionality[]

The Blade Blaster is a medium fire rate pistol with a built-in ammo reserve and an overheating mechanic. When aiming down sights, the weapon will fire explosive rounds, at the cost of a slower fire rate. The weapon has a 1.75x multiplier against The Swarm AI.

The hipfire mode can be continuously fired 20 times before overheating and the aim down sights mode can continuously fired 8 times before overheating.

The Blade Blaster fires a Fast Moving Projectile that is affected by gravity. Blade Blaster has no damage fall-off over distance.
