Hero's Heart - Emoticon - Fortnite This article is about a location that has been removed from the map.

Boost Pad, also known as Fancy View was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Chapter 2: Season 1 to the island Apollo. The landmark was located Southwest of Believer Beach inside coordinate A4. It was a house that was veering over a cliff and has a clear view of the ocean below.

History[]

Chapter 2: Season 1[]

  • Update v11.00
    • The landmark is added under the name Fancy View.
  • Update v11.30
    • The red car at the house has crashed through the wall of the garage, and has fallen down the cliff, referencing events from the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
  • Update v11.31
    • Three gingerbread people have appeared at Fancy View in the house with the crashed red car down the hill. They stand in the same spot where people in Ferris Bueller's Day Off stood that watched the red car fall in the film.

Chapter 2: Season 2[]

  • Update v12.10
    • The red car that has fallen down the mansion cliff at Fancy View in the previous season has now been lifted up by a crane held up on the edge by multiple pallets.
  • Update v12.20
    • The crane attempting to lift the red car has fallen over, leaving only a few remaining pallets on the hill.
  • Update v12.30
    • A truck has appeared at the location, now holding a much larger crane that has lifted the smaller crane and the red car from down the hill.

Chapter 2: Season 3[]

  • Update v13.00
    • Fancy View has been flooded and is now completely submerged in water.
    • Only the top roof and the highest parts of the large crane remain above the water level. Despite this, it remains a landmark.
  • Update v13.20
    • July 12th 2020 - The landmark is now fully accessible again due to the water levels dropping.
  • Update v13.40
    • A Whiplash car spawns here, as drivable cars have been added all over the map.

Chapter 2: Season 4[]

  • Update v14.10
    • The crane has fallen down, along with the back of the truck.
  • Update v14.20
    • The landmark's name has changed from Fancy View to Boost Pad as part of the Rocket League Llama-Rama event.
    • A special Victory Motors Whiplash Car named the Whiplash Super Circuit has been added to the garage of the house, replacing the normal Whiplash already there.
      • This car was in reference to the newly acquired Rocket League IP for Epic Games.
      • It's license plate reads RCKT LGE, or "Rocket League."
  • Update v14.30
    • The landmark's name has reverted back to Fancy View as the event has ended.

Chapter 2: Season 5[]

  • Update v15.00
  • Fancy View was renamed to Boost Pad once again, to celebrate Rocket League Season 2.
  • Update v15.10
    • The name has changed to Fancy View once more and remains as such to this day. When exactly that had occurred is not currently known, though it is likely it happened in this update, similar to when the name changed the first time.
