Strategy Guide[]

Calculated - Emote - Fortnite This section outlines a strategy.
Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.
  • Bottle Rockets are weak for player damage and should only be used to attack structures.
  • Throwing one or two Bottle Rockets can be useful for passive damage, as having them work away at a structure can allow time to focus on other things during a fight.
  • Bottle Rockets cannot be destroyed, so they can be used after boxing a player into a strong structure, such as one made of Metal or Stone, and then throwing the Bottle Rockets inside.
  • Since Bottle Rockets will ignite structures, you can use them to clear opponents out of wooden structures.
  • Never throw down more than three sets of Bottle Rockets at a time, as throwing down a fourth will despawn the first one thrown before it's been fully utilised.
  • In a competitive setting, Bottle Rockets could be used to destroy many opponent-built structures and drain them of materials.
  • Never stand in front of a thrown Bottle Rocket as it can damage you.

Item ID[]

Bottle Rockets are referred to as Fireworks Mortar in the files.
