The Burst Pulse Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 2: Season 7.
Burst Pulse Rifle is the Exotic version of the Pulse Rifle.
Functionality[]
The Burst Pulse Rifle fires faster at the hip than when aimed. The Burst Pulse Rifle fires in slow two round burst while amining down sights and fires two fast bursted while hip-firing.
The Burst Pulse Rifle is a hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

- The Burst Pulse Rifle is an incredibly versatile weapon, excelling at both close and long ranges.
- When using the Burst Pulse Rifle up close, make sure to hip fire to have a faster fire rate.
- When using the Burst Pulse Rifle at range, make sure to aim in to have near-perfect accuracy.
- The Burst Pulse Rifle is an excellent choice for loadouts using only two guns, since it functions well at any range.
- When choosing between the Burst Pulse Rifle and a standard Pulse Rifle, note that the Burst Pulse Rifle deals lower damage per shot but fires in a two-round burst while aimed in. This burst functionality makes it better for situations where opponents only peak for brief moments at a time, potentially netting you more overall damage in a very short time.
- Since the Burst Pulse Rifle is a hitscan weapon rather than firing projectiles, it has a long-range advantage against other long-ranged weapons like the DMR or Striker AR, especially given its accuracy at range.
- Make sure to always aim for headshots at range to capitalize on this weapon's high accuracy.
- As the Burst Pulse Rifle fires in bursts, it can be advantageous while using this weapon at long ranges to peak, fire a burst, then hide once more while you wait for the weapon to be ready to fire again.

- It is hinted in v17.40 Blog Post that The Last Reality took a Pulse Rifle and improved upon its design to create this weapon, which is more apparent with Kymera selling it, instead of someone from the Imagined Order.
- The Burst Pulse Rifle's model is internally referred to as Pasta_Ripper_Rifle_Top_Tier.
- This name matches the names of other Epic and Legendary rarity models which hints that this may have originally been a high rarity model for the Pulse Rifle at some point in development.
- The Pulse Pounder in Save the World uses the Burst Pulse Rifle's icon and model as its basis.
