Trivia[]

  • Cash is one of the few items in Fortnite: Battle Royale to have no function in game, and drop outside of Challenges, even when its only purpose was for them.
  • Cash was classed as Ammo, likely due to the fact no world resources such as Bars existed at the time, and the only way to allow players to take up the item without taking up space was to set it as currency.
  • The icon of the in-game appearance was originally fanmade for the Fortnite Wiki before Epic Games used it in a promotional video for the Boogie Bomb for Fortnite OG.[1]
