Template:Infobox locationCatty Corner is a Point Of Interest in Battle Royale added in Chapter 2 Season 3, located inside of the coordinate G7, southeast of Lazy Lake, southwest Hut Watch and north of **REDACTED**. It is an expanded Box Factory with houses, crates, and a gas station. Catty Corner is made up of two main parts, the top building with the vault nearby, as well as the gas station below that building.

Location info

Kit Spawns

Kit is the neutral boss of the Catty Conner POI, controlling the place with his Mythic Charge Shotgun and his Mythic Shockwave Launcher. He has the ability to spawn in three places in Catty Corner, the first option is by the door of the top building, and he does have the ability to walk around, so depending on his path, you might find him inside the building, or in the gated yard next to the building. His second spawn is outside the gas station, where he and his henchman walk around, patrolling the place. The last spawn location is in the top room of the gas station. If you are still unable to locate Kit, make sure to look around, as he does walk around, and he will follow enemy players if he sees any. As a strategy to kill Kit, make sure to stay at a distance while shooting at him, since he only has a shotgun, which does very little damage at a long range. If you only have a short range weapon, it's recommended to time your shots, so you shoot a couple, then go behind a wall or barrier, since unlike the other bosses, his shotgun prevents him from shooting too many shots at a single time, so it is very easy to prevent any damage from him if you go behind cover as soon as he shoots.

Looting

There are multiple ways to loot Catty Corner, and it's a good idea to drop there multiple times in a game to get used to the environment. Many different people recommend different loot paths. One path would be to drop at the small house west of the gas station. This house has one chest, located in the roof, as well as a floor spawn. This house also has a bunch of Noms, or fruit and vegetable boxes. From there you can scout the actual gas station, and slowly make your way there, killing all the henchman in your path. This is a good since the first chest is easy to loot, and most times there is almost no people dropping there, however if someone else drops that house, it may be difficult to contest. Another advantage of this path is all the fruits and vegetable can provide some shield, which is helpful for those begging fights, as well as a pepper, which will grant a speed increase, which will help eliminate all other players dropping there. Another path is to drop the weather station, located south of Catty Corner. The weather station has lots of chests, which provide quick and helpful loot, as well as there is a Choppa, which grants quick mobility to Catty Corner. Some more paths include dropping at the top main building on the roof, getting the floor loot, and heading inside the building, and by using the henchman there you can open the two henchman chests located inside the building, as well as the two normal chests, supplying quick and good loot. Similar to this path you can drop the tower with the chest west of the main building, or the RV inside the gated yard. Both of these places have a single chest, which is helpful for getting a weapon, some utility item, and preparing to head into the main building, as this weapon might be better then the floor loot others dropped on.

Strategy

There are two main strategies of looting Catty Corner, the first one is to focus on killing all players, then slowly looting everything by yourself, or to focus on the loot, and then leaving. Both strategies are good in different scenarios, and the strategy best for you depends on your skill level. If you chose to kill all the players, it's recommended to take out the henchman near you, since they will end up being a hassle when you are in a fight with another player, and they might even end up killing you with their persistence and infinite ammo. On the other hand if you only care about looting, you might want to ignore the henchman, as the will later annoy other players, and in the least make noise when enemy players are approaching. Whatever way you chose, killing Kit should be one of your priorities, since his shotgun, and impulse launcher will seriously help in all the battles you end up facing with other players. If you end up killing Kit quickly, it is a option to simply leave, without going to the vault, if you are unsure of your abilities. This is very much discouraged, since by running you are not improving, and you are reducing the loot you leave with by a lot, as well as running away annoys many other players who want to fight to get the Mythic weapons. Opening the vault is also quite risky, since its the vault hardest to defend, since you can not build around it, and there is only one space to build inside it. Due to this fact, it is recommended to kill all players nearby before opening the vault. No matter if there are or are not people there, its best to create two closed boxes on the sides of the vault, since this is one of the only ways to protect yourself while you are inside.
