The Ceiling Zapper is a Trap in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in the Pre Season.
Functionality[]
The Ceiling Zapper is a damaging trap that can be placed on any player-owned or neutral ceiling structure. When an opponent enters the tile they a Ceiling Zapper is placed on, the trap activated, dealing damage.

- The Ceiling Zapper can be placed inside an enemy structure to catch an opponent under it.
- The Ceiling Zapper can be used to damage or eliminate an enemy by boxing them in with one, causing the trap to activate and damage the enemy.
- This trap makes an audible buzz, so it can be avoided by listening carefully. It also makes a toaster “ding” when first placed.
