Chapter 6: Mini Season 2, also referred to as Chapter 6: Season MS2 or Season 38, was the thirty-eighth season of Fortnite: Battle Royale. The season started on November 1st 2025 and concluded on November 29th 2025 immediately following the Zero Hour Live Event.
The entire season was a crossover with The Simpsons, chronicling Homer Simpson's misadventures with a shard of the Zero Point. Tie-in animated shorts were released weekly in Fortnite and on Disney+ as part of the story. This season had no proper slogan, with promotional material changing the game's name to "Fartnite", "Bartnite" (in international promotion) and the season simply being named "Fortnite | The Simpsons".
It was the sixth and final season of Chapter 6, and the final season of Phase 1.
Previously, in Fortnite...[]
A Swarm of mutated insectoids ransacked Oninoshima after a failed attempt by a possessed Daigo to summon the Dark Presence to the Island. A dormant extermination militia known as the Onimorph eXtermination Rangers (O.X.R.) were reactivated to help combat the threat alongside the Island's inhabitants, but they were quickly overwhelmed by the Swarm's rapid spawning, and numerous locations were overrun. Zordon sent the Power Rangers to reinforce O.X.R., who summoned the Megazord to the Island to eradicate the Queen bugs and repel the Swarm away. Oninoshima began to rebuild in the aftermath, but the threat of the Dark Presence remained, prompting O.X.R., Hope, Jones, and their allies to mobilize and confront it in the Spirit Realm.
How Did It Begin?[]
Main Article: Welcome, Our Alien Overlords Such plans to invade the Spirit Realm were shelved when a fissure appeared beside a treehouse that mysteriously sprouted on Oninoshima. A pair of aliens named Kang and Kodos arrived from outer space to investigate, while Hope and Jones rifted to a control center that had been set up nearby to use an upgraded Rift Device to seal the breach and prevent the Dark Presence from invading the Island. The fissure was closed, for a moment, before reopening into a larger portal that allowed the demonic creature to cross over.

As a battle erupts, Kang and Kodos became captivated by the sight of the Dark Presence as they had hoped to find a mate to reproduce with. They abduct Hope and Jones to gain the demon master's favor, but Hope overpowers them and gains control of their saucer to attack the Dark Presence. Her attack is parried and the saucer is thrown into an inter-reality wormhole, but Jones alerts Hope to the Zero Point Shard in the Dark Presence's chest, and she is able to use the tractor beam to steal a piece of it and take it into the wormhole.
In the wormhole, Kodos and Hope fight over sending the saucer to Springfield or Oninoshima. The constant meddling with the wormhole's calibration causes multiple realities to fuse with Springfield's reality, creating Springfield Island. Kodos plots to conquer it, but the Battle Bus– piloted by Otto Mann– crashes into the saucer, and Hope loses the shard of the Zero Point in the air.
At home, Homer Simpson tries to watch TV with an uncooperative remote when the shard flies into the house, just as Marge informs him to call the police if he finds such an object. Hearing about its power and extraterrestrial origins, Homer outfits the shard into his remote, turning it into a reality-bending conduit that he quickly learns to control. Although Marge raises concerns, Homer wins her over by using the remote on himself to change his hairstyle. He sets off on a quest to achieve "nirvana", using the shard remote to improve the lives of the residents of Springfield.
At Moe's, Homer finds out from Moe that Hope and Jones were looking for him in regards to the Shard. To keep them distracted, Moe served them pretzels that Homer had modified with the remote to be sentient and force themselves into the eater's mouths for consumption.
Hope and the Looper had been cleaning up Homer's mess caused with his usage of the Shard, which led some Springfielders to accuse them of being from Shelbyville. The Looper confronts Homer, who refuses to relinquish the Shard, although he offers to reconsider if they deliver a Slap Juice-flavored Squishee to him. As part of the delivery, they air his "complaints" at the Town Hall by causing a ruckus and fleeing before authorities are contacted. As Hope scours through various remotes found at the Simpsons residence for clues, Homer receives his Squishee from the Looper but decides to hold onto the Shard, wanting to improve Springfield and become idolized as a result. Hope realizes Homer is oblivious to the dangers of the Shard, and thus will continue to undo his mess with the Looper.

Professor Frink examines Homer's Shard Remote and informs him about the power of the Zero Point, declaring it the most dangerous force in the Omniverse. Frink wanted to study the Shard in order to achieve notoriety and Nobel Prize consideration by publishing a research document, but relents when Homer insists on keeping it, in part because Homer had turned his robo-caller into a "ladybot". Hearing this, Homer turns Frink into a walking banana so that he can perform research on himself in hopes of obtaining Nobel attention.
Seeing a donut-shaped cloud, Homer instinctively uses the Remote to turn it into a giant pink frosted sprinkled donut, which falls from the sky. Aiming to serve his fellow Springfielders with an endless supply of food, Homer creates a "food rain" where supersized versions of pizzas, donuts, pies, and fried chicken drumsticks continuously rain down on the Island. But instead of delighting his people, Homer incited chaos as the food destroys homes and establishments on Springfield, turning the people against him. With the Looper's help, Frink and Ned Flanders rallied numerous Springfielders (including Moe, Krusty, and Mayor Quimby) at the Town Hall, where they denounce Homer's actions and agree to stop him.
The Looper delivers angry letters from the Springfield mob to Homer at the Nuclear Power Plant, which he struggles to comprehend as he can barely read. He removes the Zero Point Shard from the Remote and takes it to the nuclear core, where he throws it into a fuel pool in an attempt to dispose of the evidence. As he steps back to take a seat, Homer notices a bar of unfinished candy laying right beside the pool, but he accidentally falls into the vat as he fails to retrieve it. The reaction between Zero Point energy and radiation causes a explosion in the core, which splits Homer's essence into an army of mindless pink clones that are set loose on Springfield.

Back at the Simpsons house, Bart and Lisa find that the Homer clones had reached their doorstep. Chief Wiggum, who is at the scene, uses a pair of laser pistols to eliminate the clone army, which dissolves them into pink gas that wafts into the air. But instead of dissipating, the gases coalesce into a giant pink storm cloud. Knowing that Homer's essence is in the pink clouds, the Simpson children use their antics in hopes that over-annoyance triggers a response from their dad. These include the Simpson children repeatedly chanting "Are you there yet? Are you there yet? Are you there yet?", Lisa playing her saxophone from the rooftop of Moe's, and Bart enlisting the Looper to masquerade as El Barto and vandalize Springfield. They also visit Krusty Burger and Lard Lad to find vegan options for Homer.
Since Homer failed to answer to Bart and Lisa's antics, they ran out of ideas, so they resort to join Hope, Marge, and the others in the effort of cleansing Springfield of the Homer clones. As more and more are eliminated, the clouds containing Homer's essence condense and reconstitute into a kaiju version of Homer, who is left with nothing but underwear on. Hope finds that the Shard is hidden inside Homer's body and is the reason behind his colossal transformation. Lisa theorizes that this version of her dad could be a "force for good", only for the mindless kaiju to go on a destructive rampage at the Town Square before fleeing for the hills, taking the statue of Jebediah Springfield with him.

Following the trail of footsteps left behind, Hope, Jones, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Peely find the embiggened Homer off Springfield's shores. The Zero Point Shard is inside Homer's stomach, so Hope suggests that they vaporize his frontal lobe to immobilize him and retrieve the Shard with a strike team operation up through his bowels. An appalled Marge suggests a more empathetic approach to catch her husband's attention, which Hope and Jones are forced to go with after Hope's plan proves ineffective.
The Looper visits Professor Frink, who proclaims that they would have to take his greatest inventions and somehow improve upon them to solve the crisis. He gives them a complex schematic for a phone that produces an eerily familiar ringtone, before they run over to retrieve the Sarcasm Machine and Hamburger Earmuffs. The Looper then helps Marge in collecting family photos so that they can plaster them on a billboard in front of Homer and restore his sense of humanity. Originally a billboard that displayed an order outlawing donuts, the photos obscure the text to read "DO IT FOR US", which catches Homer's attention. He burps the Zero Point Shard out of his body and onto Springfield Island, where the Looper collects the Shard and hands it over to Hope and Jones. Hope gets to work with Frink's devices and the Rift Device while Jones handles the Shard with a pair of oven mitts.
Even with the Shard removed from his body, Homer remains in his colossal state due to the lingering presence of Zero Point energy in his body. Frink arrives and attempts to use a "de-bigulator" blaster to shrink Homer, but the Zero Point energy resists its effects. Marge tells Homer that he has to clean up the mess he created on Springfield, to which he suggests using the Shard, but Marge tells him to leave it in Hope's care. Hope gets the idea to bring Homer back to Oninoshima to help them confront the Dark Presence, and an aloof Homer relents after Marge asks him to clean the gutters back home.
The End of Chapter 6[]
Main Article: Zero Hour Hope uses parts from the Sarcasm Machine and Hamburger Earmuffs to upgrade the Rift Device, which they would use to house the Shard. As Homer slept in the Town Square, Jones and Hope used the Shard to summon Rift Beacons in numerous realities within the Omniverse to rally those who answered the call into battle against the Dark Presence. Hope and Jones were unwillingly sent on a detour through several realities in the Omniverse due to an improperly calibrated Rift Device before arriving back to Oninoshima with Homer to lead the innumerable bands of heroes into battle, which included Godzilla, Kong, Superman, HUNTR/X, the Power Rangers, and an alliance between the Resistance and the Galactic Empire, among many others.
The fight quickly took a turn for the worse as the heroes struggled to keep up with the Dark Presence, and Homer was pinned to the ground by a tentacle. A desperate Jones rifted a red Corruption Cube to the battlefield, which the Mecha Team Leader used to vanquish the Dark Presence. With the demon master's defeat, Homer returned to his normal size and was sent back to his home reality along with the rest of the summoned heroes as the now-liberated Zero Point Shard produced a reality wave that purified Oninoshima and sealed it off from the Spirit Realm. Hope and Jones left Oninoshima for a new Island, but on their way there, a mysterious spacecraft shoots down the Battle Bus.

1,000 V-Bucks, with an additional 10-level boost being offered for 1,750 V-Bucks with the Battle Bundle. Fortnite Crew subscribers immediately unlock the Battle Pass alongside the OG Pass, Music Pass, and LEGO® Pass. Battle Pass levels require 80,000 
or up to 49 rewards can be claimed for 150 V-Bucks each, with the first 10 levels being discounted by 50%.
As with the case of mini-season Battle Passes, the standard rewards track has 50 items.

- Giant donuts fall from the sky and destroy any buildings or players underneath.

Update v38.11
November 19th 2025
- Homer Simpson attempted to discard the Zero Point Shard by throwing it into the only trash bin he knows — a radioactive fuel pool in the Nuclear Power Plant's core. This causes a chemical reaction that overruns Springfield Island with Zero Point energy:
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant is now constantly erupting. Due to the effects of the Zero Point Shard, the Nuclear Plant is now an established low-gravity zone.
- Cletus' Corn Hole is now glowing pink, with the Zero Point energy seeping into the crops there.
- Lake Springfield and neighboring bodies of water are now laced with Zero Point energy, turning them pink.
- Entering the water grants bursts of Zero Point Dash.
- A countdown activated in the middle of Springfield Town Square.

- A giant cloud fused with Zero Point energy appeared near the Springfield Island.

- "Bad Boys... For Life?" sees the Simpson family coming home to find Jones, Hope, Meowscles, Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely sitting on their couch. Peely slips and falls as the rest flee, then eviscerated alive and turned into a banana split sundae eaten by the family.
- The second couch gag cuts away from the usual intro, instead showing the Simpson family disembarking from the Otto Mann-piloted Battle Bus and skydiving towards Springfield Island. Whereas everyone else lands smoothly, Homer crashes into the living room from above.
- To promote the season ahead of an official announcement, a select number of content creators were given early access by Epic Games on October 31st 2025 to showcase the season's gameplay, Battle Pass, and the new addition of Sidekicks.
- This marks the first time that content creators were given early access to a Battle Royale season.
- To promote the release of the "Multiplidiocy" short for Week 3, a large number of actors in costume as Homer Simpson and Peelfessor Frink were unleashed on the streets of Santa Monica, California and other places in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. Accompanying them was Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons.
