Chapter Seven: Pacific Break[1], also known as Chapter 7: Season 1, Chapter Seven: Season 1, and Season 39, is the thirty-ninth season of Fortnite: Battle Royale, and the first season of Chapter 7. The season began on November 29th 2025 and will end on March 4th 2026.
The season's main slogan is Pacific Break with a theme around the United States West Coast, particularly the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and Hollywood cinema.
Previously, in Fortnite...[]
Since their victory against the Imagined Order with the destruction of the Collider, the members of the superhero team known as The Seven mysteriously went missing.
In the meantime, Reality Zero was ambushed by a division of The Last Reality. While the creation of the Asteria Island kept The Last Reality away, they remained in the shadows, observing the Loopers and their allies.
The Asteria island collapsed sometime after Jones traveled back in time to trigger the Big Bang, which led the Zero Point to break off into innumerable fragments that were scattered across the Omniverse. One of these Shards followed Jones and his new partner Hope to Reality: 783 and crashed onto the surface of the Oninoshima Island, which resulted in a shockwave that rejuvenated the Island's magic. As a result, demons invaded the Island and took the Shard back to the Spirit Realm on behalf of the Dark Presence inside.
Hope, Jones, and their allies fought through several of the Dark Presence's puppets as they sought to salvage the Shard and contain it in the Vault. However, their repeated conflicts with the Dark Presence and the Spirit Realm began to weaken the veil separating the two realms, which eventually allowed the Dark Presence to enter Oninoshima through a fissure that developed in the veil. Even though they managed to steal a sliver of the Zero Point Shard, Hope and Jones were sent to Springfield Island by the Dark Presence, where they lost the Shard to a lovable yet single-minded family man named Homer Simpson. Despite good intentions, Homer's reckless usage of the Shard quickly threw Springfield into disarray before becoming fused to the Shard in a radioactive incident, which led to his transformation into a titan.
Welcome to Chapter 7[]
Main Article: Zero Hour After coaxing the Shard out of Homer, Hope and Jones placed it into a Rift Device that had been upgraded with parts from Professor Frink's Sarcasm Machine and Hamburger Earmuffs, using the Shard to summon Rift Beacons in numerous realities within the Omniverse to rally those who answered the call into battle against the Dark Presence. Hope, Jones, and Homer travel back to Oninoshima to lead the innumerable bands of heroes into battle, which included Godzilla, Kong, Superman, HUNTR/X, the Power Rangers, and an alliance between the Resistance and the Galactic Empire, among many others.
After a prolonged battle, Jones rifted a red Corruption Cube to the battlefield, which the Mecha Team Leader used to vanquish the Dark Presence. Oninoshima was purified by the liberated Zero Point Shard and the summoned heroes were sent back to their home realities while Hope and Jones left Reality: 783 for the Golden Coast. On their way there, a mysterious person shot down the Battle Bus.
Story[]
Following the Battle of Oninoshima, The Order visited Reality: 783 to analyze the aftermath when she received a distress signal sent out by Jones. She follows his lead to the Golden Coast, where she finds an intense concentration of Zero Point energy on the Island and discovers that someone had been tampering with the Storm. She is also made aware about an unknown entity that is also chasing the Zero Point Shards, but with the Seven fragmented, she is unable to do much.
The Battle Bus was eventually brought back up in the air. The Dark Voyager spent time in an alternate reality before returning to the Golden Coast and taking over InnoLoop Labs, which had been running experiments on the Zero Point Shard.
Battle Pass[]
The Pacific Break Battle Pass costs 
1,000 V-Bucks, with an additional 25-level boost being offered for 1,800 V-Bucks. Fortnite Crew subscribers immediately unlock the Battle Pass alongside the OG Pass, Music Pass, and LEGO® Pass. Battle Pass levels require 80,000 
or up to 99 rewards can be claimed for 150 V-Bucks each.
A non-linear progression system was introduced, allowing players to freely pick which set of cosmetics to unlock after amassing a certain amount of levels. Unlocking a set simultaneously unlocks both of their pages for reward redemption. This excludes the final page of the standard Battle Pass, which is locked at Level 85. For some cosmetic pages, there are additional rewards that can only be obtained by completing designated Quests in Battle Royale, Blitz Royale, or Reload, depending on the cosmetics.

- Mark Rein's word for Chapter Seven: Pacific Break was "Dodecahedron".[2]
- On November 20th 2025, Epic Games held a red carpet event at Quentin Tarantino's Vista Theatre in Los Angeles, California to promote the launch of Chapter 7, the Zero Hour Live Event, the premiere of Yuki's Revenge, and the joint theatrical re-release of both Kill Bill films as a combined picture, titled Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. A number of content creators and other notable people were invited to play the season early.
- Attendees included Kill Bill director Tarantino and The Bride actress Uma Thurman, singer/rapper Rei Ami of HUNTR/X, influencer Bella Poarch, rapper Lil Tecca, and record producer Benny Blanco.
- This was the second time content creators were granted early access to a Battle Royale season, after Chapter 6: Mini Season 2.
