- — In-Game Description
Chrome Splash was a Consumable in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Chapter 3: Season 4.
Functionality[]
Chrome Splashes can be thrown by using the projectile arc to guide it. Once it hits a surface, Chrome will spread across the area within a small radius and turn any objects within its range into Chrome. This can allow the player to phase through walls and player-built structures. If a Chrome Splash is thrown close to the player, then the player will be turned into chrome and can turn into a Chrome Blob.

Strategy Guide[]
- Chrome Splash can be farmed by throwing it at any large health object, then harvesting it for a chance for a Chrome Splash to drop.
- If you get boxed in by an opponent, you can throw a Chrome Splash to both prevent your opponent from making an edit play and escape by phasing through a wall.
- If there are chromed structures nearby, you can harvest it for Chrome Splash, apply the splash, then use the blob state for easy mobility.
- If you're low on HP, you can use a Chrome Splash on yourself to begin healing over time.
- You can throw a Chrome Splash on a damaged vehicle to repair it and restore both its tires and broken windows.
- A similar effect can be applied to rideable animals, such as Boars and Wolves.
