Fortnite Wiki

Chug Splash is a Rare Throwable Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was added in Season 9. Its Exotic version is Chili Chug Splash.

Chug Splash is thrown using the projectile arc to guide it. When they land near a player, they create a 1 tile wide splash. This heals the player 20 effective health, meaning it can heal HP or Shields. It can heal both friendly players and opponents.

Chug Splashes can be thrown by holding the Aim button, however, they will splash like they were thrown with the attack button, and cannot be safely passed to another teammate without dropping the item.

Chug Splash can be found in many places. They can be found as Floor Loot, in Chests, in Supply Llamas and in Supply Drops. Chug Splash are normally found in stacks of 2.

Chug Splash heals 20 effective health.

This section outlines a strategy. Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.

  • Chug Splash can be used to heal both you and other players at the same time. This can be beneficial for you and teammates, but detrimental if you accidentally heal an opponent.
  • Chug Splash can be used to heal AI; this can be used to aid players who have recruited Characters and want to keep them alive.
  • Chug Splash can be used to heal knocked players, extending the period of which a player is knocked for.
  • When an opponent uses a Chug Splash, get close to them to also heal yourself.

Season 9

  • Update v9.30: Added the Chug Splash in Rare rarity. It heals 20 effective health to any player in the radius.

Chapter 2: Season 1

Chapter 2: Season 3

Chapter 2: Season 6

Chapter 2: Season 7

  • Update v17.10: Various AI Characters across the map will heal the player using Chug Splash, if they emote alongside them for a short period of time. The item itself is still vaulted.

Chapter 2: Season 8

  • Throwing the Chug Splash actually creates an Area of Effect healing for 0.25 seconds, meaning if a player fails to be in the radius initially, they have a frame-perfect window to enter it for healing.
  • Throwing the Chug Splash on structures that are lit on fire can be used to put it out.
