Coal is an uncommon-rated resource found in caves, mountains, and campfires. It is used to craft Blast Powder.
During the Winterfest Event In Chapter 2, Season 1, coal could be received by throwing down a present. All presents would contain a Legendary weapon, some ammo and materials, an item, and 5 lumps of coal. A lump of coal could be thrown at enemy players to deal 20 damage.
