The Combat SMG is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 8.
Functionality
The Combat SMG behaves similar to other weapons in its class, however it has a much tighter weapon spread, but has a significant kick to the weapon. This means players can be accurate at long ranges, but must control the weapon's recoil to be effective with it. As such, it fills a closer role to the Suppressed Submachine Gun than other closer ranged SMGs.
Stats
Combat SMGs range from dealing 20 to 24 damage per shot (240 - 288 damage per second). All Combat SMGs use 
Light Bullets. The Combat SMG has a headshot multiplier of 1.75x.
