Comeback is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale, which was added in Update v15.40.
LTM Rules and Gameplay[]
Looting[]
- All players start out with a Common Pistol. Dying and Respawning will upgrade your weapons to the next tier. All loot collected will not drop.
- The HUD will display how many respawns you have left. Legendary Players will not respawn after being killed.
- Gain Health and Shield via Siphon or Supply Drops.
- Rapid Fire SMG and the Pump Shotgun return from the vault in this mode.
- Additionally, a Common Lever Action Rifle has been added and the Common Charge Shotgun is back.
The Storm[]
- Moving Storm Circles have returned, which causes games to go on until one team remains, or the storm circle shrinks.

- When in lower lives such as lives with Common and Uncommon weapons, looting is more important than preserving lives, as it is far more important than to have good weapons with higher rarity lives than good health and materials earlier on.
Trivia[]
- As you progress into Epic and Legendary Tiers, Low Level Models of weapons such as the Assault Rifle and Pump Shotgun will show the Epic and Legendary glow when displayed as Floor Loot, but will switch to their actual High-Tier Models upon picking them up.
