Coolers are a type of Container in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were first introduced in Chapter 3: Season 1.
Functionality[]
Coolers contain healing items from a unique pool. They contain two standard stacks of items which can duplicate like an Ammo Box.
Coolers spawn at a 75% rate, and are usually found at unique location such as small camping landmarks, outdoor food locations, and a building inside Greasy Grove.
Coolers can be interacted with by the player to open them, granting some XP. Coolers take a standard amount of time to open and make no noise.

Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Update v19.00: Added Coolers. They will spawn Guzzle Juice or Chug Splashes.
Chapter 3: Season 2[]
- Update v20.00: Updated Cooler loot pool.
- Coolers will now drop Klomberries and Floppers alongside Chug Splash.
- Guzzle Juice has been Vaulted so no longer drops.
Chapter 3: Season 3[]
- Update v21.00: Coolers now grant XP when opened.
Chapter 4: Season 1[]
- Update v23.00: Changed the Icon for the Cooler.
Chapter 4: Season OG[]
- Update v27.00: Changed the Coolers design, to fit better in the OG season.
- Coolers now drop Foraged Items like Apples and Coconuts.
Trivia[]
- Despite not giving XP when were introduced, Coolers could still be marked, unlike Cash Registers.
