Corrupted Areas were areas corrupted by The Cube that were spread across the island in Season 6 and Chapter 2: Season 8.

In Chapter 2: Season 8, areas around 5 Abductors’ Crash Sites became corrupted by Corruption Cubes. As the season progressed, the Cubes were moving, spreading corruption in their path.

Shadow Stones are commonly found around Corrupted Areas.

Rune Corruption areas can be found near Fatal Fields, Greasy Grove, Pleasant Park, Lazy Links, Wailing Woods, Salty Springs and Retail Row during Season 6.
