My Island

My Island is a range of settings in Fortnite: Creative that alter the gameplay of your creative map/Island at game start. Below are a list of all island settings in this Gamemode.

Settings are updated to Update v20.40.

Game

Total Rounds 1 - 100 1 Determines the number of rounds to play before the game ends.
Team Rotation Disabled, Every Round, Every Other Round, Every 3rd Round, Every 4th Round, Every 5th Round, Every 6th Round, Every 7th Round, Every 8th Round, Every 9th Round, Every 10th Round, Every 20th Round, Every 40th Round, Every 60th Round Disabled Determines how frequently teams should be rotated. Not supported when 3 or more teams are asymetric or when teams are set to cooperative.
End Game On Match Point Win No, Yes No Causes the game to end when one player or team has won enough rounds that they can no longer be beaten.
Team Visuals Determined At Round Start, Game Start Round Start Determines whether team names and colors change each round or stay as they are at game start.

Objectives To End Off, 1 - 1,000 Off Causes the round to end when a player or team has completed the specified number of objectives.
Collect Items To End Off, All, 1 - 1,000 Off Causes the round to end when a player or team has acquired the specified number of collectible objects.
Score To End Off, 1 - 10,000,000 Off Causes the round to end when a player or team has achieved the specified score.
Last Standing Ends Game Off, On Off Determines whether the game should end when there is only one player or team still alive in the match.
Join In Progress Spectate, Spawn, Spawn On Next Round, Spawn Team 1-16 Spectate Specifies what to do when a player joins while a game is still in progress. Set to SPAWN if you want players to join while in progress.
Spawn Location Spawn Pads, Sky, Current Location Spawn Pads Specifies where players will spawn when the game starts.
Respawn Type Individual, Wave Individual Changing respawn type to wave causes all players eliminated during a certain window to respawn together. Time is set via Respawn Time setting.
Post-Game Spawn Location Island Start, Pre-Game Location Island Start Determines where players respawn when the game ends.
Only Allow Respawn If Spawn Pads Found No, Yes No Only allow players to respawn if there is a valid spawn pad available.

Tool Description

Reset Island To original state Resets the island, removing every tile except naturally generated ones.

Description

In this tab, you have the option to customize the name and description of your Island. Up to 40 characters can be used for the name, and up to 3 descriptions can be used; each having a limit of 150 characters.

The name and description will appear in-game and before game start, as well as beside your island rift in the Creative Hub.

Permissions

In this tab, you can change people's rights to perform actions in the island. If nobody has entered your island before, this option will be blank except for the Island Edit And Copy option. It shows options for every player that has ever entered your island. The "Island Edit And Copy" setting will determine whether every player will be able to edit the island or not.

Tags

Tags will appear as an option in the Description tab. Up to 4 tags may be assigned for each island. Below are a list of all tags.

Chest

Chest is a tab that lets you create a customizable chest or llama. To add a weapon or consumable to this chest, select it from the catalogue and select "Add To Chest". You can have a maximum of 15 slots in this chest.

Select "Create Llama" or "Create Chest" and it will place the chest/llama down in front of you. Use the Phone to duplicate, move, rotate or delete it.

Overview

  • This menu allows players to access the items stored in their Inventory.
  • It is the only inventory section that can be used during a game.
    • My Island and Create are restricted to only be used while Creating Islands.
