Creative Unused Traps are Traps that were planned to be implemented at some point, but have since been removed and most likely scrapped. They were first added to the files in Update v6.01.

Waypoint Traps[]

Item Description Action Notes

Speed Boost (Waypoint Dot)
Use this pad to zoom around on vehicles or on foot! Spawns a waypoint dot, which can be connected to the Waypoint Dispenser to make a path a player can follow. [1] Uses the Speed Boost's icon and name. Reuses the collectable dot found in some Playground Spawnables.

Speed Boost (Waypoint Ring)
Use this pad to zoom around on vehicles or on foot! Spawns a waypoint ring, which can be connected to other waypoint traps to make a path a player can follow. Uses the Speed Boost's icon and name. Reuses the fire ring found in some Quests.

Waypoint Dispenser
Choose your waypoint, then hit the dispenser to make waypoints! Connects to the other waypoint traps, and makes them into waypoints the player can use. Uses the old Plasma Pulse's icon.

Minigame Plates[]

Game Start Plate
Add a Minigame Start Plate Spawns a blue timer. When used, it starts the game for the creative island. [2] Uses the Player Spawn Trap's icon. Acts very similar to the start minigame timer that is in the Playground Spawnables.

Game Trigger Plate
Add a trigger objective to a minigame Spawns a dot. This dot is rumored to act as a trigger-able objective for a game, however, it does not function. [3] Acts very similar to the collectable dots that are in the Playground Spawnables.

Creative Control Panel
The Creative Control Panel Places down an interactable desk with computer on it. When you interact with it, it brings up the Creative Island Settings. [4] Could be found underneath your island before the phase ability was added.

Vehicle Spawner
Spawn any vehicle you would like! Places down a trap that can spawn a Shopping Cart, Golf Cart, Quad, or Biplane. [5] Could of been the original plan for the Vehicle Spawner Plates, but was changed so all vehicles have separate plates.

Prop-O-Matic Manager
Manages the Prop-O-Matic Spawns a trap which acts very similar to the Prop-O-Matic Manager. Uses the Player Spawn Trap's icon.

  • All waypoint devices can be seen in the Fortnite - Creative Free Launch video on the official Fortnite YouTube channel. To spot them, look out for holographic lines that go to either a dot or a flame ring. [6]
