The Custom Smoke Grenade is an Utility Item in Fortnite that is currently unreleased and removed from the game.
Functionality[]
Custom Smoke Grenades are thrown to produce a large cloud of smoke, obscuring an area from view. This cloud is a sphere, several meters across that can only be seen through with Thermal Vision. Multiple Smoke Grenades can be thrown in one place, and they will detonate on landing. This smoke lasts around 20 seconds.[1]

- Custom Smoke Grenade has the ability to change the color of the smoke, however, it is unknown how that player could change the color.
- The ID having Creative in it suggests that it was meant to be an item for Fortnite: Creative where it was possible to customize the color of the smoke and possibly more.
- There were more items with similar IDs found in a Chapter 2: Season 7 leak, suggesting that at one point, customizable versions of items were being worked on.
