- — In-Game Description
The Daft Punk Experience is an "immersive playground" experience introduced in Chapter 6: Season 4. It is a tribute to Daft Punk, with a digital recreation of the Alive 2007 tour as its centerpiece alongside several sub-modes that celebrates the duo's music and legacy.
Its grand opening, Daft Punk Experience Premiere, was as a Live Event in Fortnite: Battle Royale which took place on September 27th 2025 at 2 PM EDT.
Buildup[]
On August 7th 2025, a mysterious prism-shaped structure in the snowy mountains has appeared Northwest of Demon's Debris.
On August 26th 2025, The Monolith started emitting strange sound effects once approached.
On September 10th, The Monolith rotated counter-clockwise.
On September 19th, the countdown appeared in-game above The Monolith. It also now resonates with a melody, has been lined with silver and gold patterns and emits a strange aura.
On September 21st, the first sightings of real-world posters were reported in France, announcing the event's title and time. These posters mention several of Daft Punk's songs and featured a QR code that directed people towards a calendar app to save the date.
On September 22nd, the Monolith began playing instrumentals of "Starboy" and "I Feel It Coming" during matches. A voice log from The Weeknd can be found there.
On September 24th, a Voice Log from CourageJD can be found near The Monolith.
On September 25th, a Voice Log from Pharrell Williams can be found near The Monolith.

Intro[]
Upon joining, a brief photosensitivity/epilepsy warning is shown.
In the Live Event segment, aura pulsates around the Monolith as it opens a pyramid-shaped portal that pulls The Looper inside.
- "Contact" - The Looper find themselves adrift in outer space gazing upon the Earth below. Stella opens a portal and she invites the Looper inside. During their journey into the time tunnel,[2] they are taken across numerous technological-themed sequences that include displays of synth waves and hexagons. A ribbon of DNA with letters spelling out "H-U-M-A-N" are juxtapositioned with letters spelling out "R-O-B-O-T" alongside various software terms. They then come face-to-face with the heads of TB3 and GM08 before descending into an eclipse.
- "Touch" / "Alive" - The Looper crash lands into the eclipse, which reveals itself as a dry, desolate planet: Earth in a very distant future. In the distance is a glimmer from where TB3 / GMO8 exploded in Electroma. At this point, the player is given control in first-person. They find a damaged TB3 / GMO8 helmet and put it on, which activates with their touch. A system reboot occurs, giving The Looper the memories of the robot before the planet became a wasteland.
In the memories The Looper witness, Daft Punk are performing to a crowd inside of their iconic pyramid set from their Alive 2007 tour. The Daft Punk Experience begins.
The Experience[]
Upon entering the Daft Punk Experience, players can continue forth to a large chamber where Daft Punk is performing to a crowd, functioning as a virtual rave as the duo plays their biggest hits from the Alive 2007 tour. With each song, the chamber will be modified with effects such as moving terrain or a series of rising grind rails to fit the theme of the music. The Crescendolls from Interstella 5555 are also featured as cameo performers. Using a Dance Emote anywhere during the experience will focus the camera on the player and allow you to use up to four particle effects.
In addition to the main chamber, players can also run into five separate rooms:
Daft Club[]
Using the red grind rail to the west takes players to the entrance of the Daft Club, guarded by a Robot Rock bouncer. This is an intimate setting where players can enjoy a selection of Daft Punk's music from Random Access Memories.
Around the World[]
The entrance to this LEGO-themed area can be found by heading downstairs below the main stage via the purple grind rail. You can queue up with up to four players. Upon entering, you are taken to a small spaceship area with LEGO props (which can be put into your inventory) and minifigures scattered around. Players are tasked with recreating the Around the World music video, by:
- Bring minifigs to the stage
- Take a prop and place it on the stage
- Dance in front of the Bio-Scanner, located in the west room full of plants upon entering.
Once everything has been put into place, a short cutscene plays and the player/s are free to customize the stage with whatever props/minifigures they want.
Robot Rock Arena[]
The green grind rail to the east takes you to an area with several terminals--using one of these queues you up for a score-chasing horde survival minigame, where up to four players must survive in an arena against polygonal robot enemies using weapons themed around the music. Eliminating enemies in quick succession temporarily increases your score multiplier (similarly to Horde Rush).
Enemies come in three types, constantly chase players and are colored either red or blue:
- ground robots, who try to "melee" you with a laser up close
- aerial drones, who drop bombs
- larger and tougher ground robots
You have two main weapons--a red projectile gun and a blue soundwave beam. You can eliminate any enemy with either weapon, but the red gun is more effective vs. red robots, and vice versa. You can also use a Zero Point-like dash at any time by pressing the secondary/aim button.
Powerups spawn throughout the match to assist players, either from designated spots on the map (large) or dropped from enemies (small). They are:
- Green heart, that restores
10 Health (small)/
25 Health (large) - Blue shield, that restores
10 Shield (small)/
25 Shield (large) - Yellow smartbomb, which goes into your inventory. Using it eliminates all surrounding nearby enemies, and it can even be used while DBNO.
As the game progresses, enemies will increase in numbers and become stronger with each wave. Should a player be eliminated in a squad, they will go into DBNO but cannot time out unlike regular Battle Royale. Any downed players can be revived by the players still standing.
The game will continue until every player is eliminated.
Dream Chamber Studios[]
Following the blue grind rails in the middle takes you to the Dream Chamber Studios entrance, which transports players to an observatory. There are several Jam Globes here that allow two people to create Jams with Daft Punk's music. They can adjust the tempo, swap beats out to create a mix, and emulate a stutter effect with the tracks. There are three separate channels, with some songs having only one or two of them available.

Basement[]
Right across from the Around the World room is a hallway leading down to a basement with a small pond, waterfalls and rocks. At the end of the basement is an archway with two monoliths depicting the members of Daft Punk. Walking through this archway allows the player to replay the "Contact" segment of the introduction sequence.
Collectibles[]
Scattered around the experience are pink pixel hearts that can be collected. It is currently unknown if they do anything. The locations for them all are as follows:
- Main Lobby
- Upon entering the experience, to the west in a red-colored lounge right in front of the Daft Club entrance. When you get close to this heart, the Technologic animatronic spawns from inside the wall and plays a sample from the song.
- To the right of the entrance to Dream Chamber Studios, right above the entrance to the Alive 2007 dancefloor.
- In the tunnel at the very bottom in front of the main Alive 2007 dancefloor.
- In the basement, on one of the floating rocks to the right.
- Dream Chamber Studios
- Behind the Stella statue (which is behind the first statue) right in front of you as soon as you enter.
- Behind a desk near some instruments to the east upon entering.
- On a floating island high up to the far east.
- On a floating island high up to the far west.
- On the lower levels in front of the giant Daft Punk portrait, near the Stella statue.
- Daft Club
- Middle of the dancefloor.
- In the top east balcony.
- In the west lounge across the dancefloor, at the very right side behind a small wall.
- Robot Rock Arena
- Just outside west of the big saferoom with transparent walls.
- Inside the big saferoom with transparent walls.
- Under the small suspended saferoom with transparent walls, between two pillars.
- Behind the ramps west of the small suspended saferoom with transparent walls, between two pillars.
- In a corner of the map tucked away behind a pillar.
It is currently impossible to collect them all, as Robot Rock Arena requires you to load into a separate instance; loading back into the Daft Punk Experience will reset all your collectibles.
Problems[]
Lots of people were experiencing problems after landing on the moon and putting on the headset. After entering the Monolith, the game would turn white and no one could do anything to get out of the bug. As of Saturday 25th of October this is unpatched.

Voices[]
| THE WEEKND: This monolith, it’s a portal, a window into another time and place. | |
| The pyramid awaits! | |
| COURAGE JD: Hi, I am CouRage and the thing that makes Daft Punk stand out to me is how uniquely creative their music sounds, | |
| any top Daft Punk hit can play and everyone knows who’s song that is and it gets people on the dance floor. | |
| PHARRELL: The robots were the ideators, this was their dream, this is the way that they saw it. | |
| I’ve always been like, ok I am going to go in there and once it feels good to me that's it. But it's really not, that's just the beginning. | |
| I never went in there to perfect it and he continued to push me. | |
| So, it might have been written but it's like ok now record it again, ok cool now record it again, ok cool take this again, | |
| ok do it again, do it again, do it again. It was like over and over and over and and over and over again, | |
| which is the right way to do it. Right, you get all the knots out | |
| and for me that's what I learned in working with the robots. | |
| Now I understand the value of it, the value of just taking the time to iron it out. But it could be perfection, | |
| that's the difference between a human and a robot. |
