Deku's Smash is an Uncategorized Mythic item in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 1. It can be obtained in My Hero Academia Supply Drop.
Functionality[]
Deku's Smash works very similar to the Kamehameha. Once activated, the player will float and create a loud sound effect which also darkens the screen. After a few seconds of charging, the player will launch a large, fast moving vortex in front of them, dealing massive damage. The Smash pierces through and destroys any destroyable objects it hits.
Deku's Smash comes with 3 charges, with 20 seconds cool down before it can be activated again after use.

Obtaining[]

- Finding one in a My Hero Academia Supply Drop, one per drop.
- A Vending Machine selling Deku's Smash, 3 per machine. (Not possible from knowledge in Part 2.)
Strategy Guide[]
- Deku's Smash can eliminate any opponent if it hits directly, making it an incredibly powerful weapon.
- When using Deku's Smash, make sure to stay partially hidden behind some cover to protect yourself from being shot while the ability charges up.
- Deku's Smash can pierce through many structures, making it especially powerful in building playlists.
- Deku's Smash cannot pierce through indestructible objects, so don't try to use Deku's Smash through vault doors or walls.
- Keep in mind that Deku's Smash provides its target with a visual indicator and is very noisy, meaning your opponents will almost definitely know it's being used.
- The visual indicator may not show if you change targets at the last second.
- Deku's Smash is very powerful in conjunction with a Witch Broom or another similar item. Use the broom to soar into the sky, cancel it, and then use Deku's Smash to deal high damage from an unexpected angle.
- Try not to use Deku's Smash at long ranges due to the projectile's slow travel time.
- Don't automatically assume you'll land an elimination with Deku's Smash. It can easily be dodged with a Shockwave Grenade or blocked with Todoroki's Ice Wall.
