The E-11 Blaster Rifle is a Mythic Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 5. On its first introduction, it served as a unique weapon for The Mandalorian Boss. It was later reintroduced in Chapter 3: Season 2 as an obtainable weapon.

Functionality[]

The E-11 Blaster Rifle functions almost identically to the First Order Blaster Rifle, but comes with a quicker cooldown time and faster fire rate. The weapon fires at medium fire rate, dealing moderate damage. The E-11 Blaster Rifle has a cooldown period similar to the Minigun, as the weapon has infinite ammo. It is also inaccurate, with no first shot accuracy.

The E-11 Blaster Rifle uses infinite Energy Cells - Ammunition - Fortnite Energy Cells and has a headshot multiplier of 1.25x.

Trivia[]

  • The codename for the E-11 Blaster Rifle is Noble_Rifle.
  • The E-11 Blaster Rifle does not have an in-game description.
  • The weapon functions very similar to the First Order Blaster Rifle. This is likely due to it being a reused asset, balanced around its sole use by an AI before.
    • The weapon’s icon therefore resembled a F-11D Blaster Rifle, and its model was a simple black reskin of it.
    • In Chapter 3: Season 2, the weapon's appearance is more accurate to the original E-11 Blaster from the films with an unusable flashlight on the side.
    • These Blasters are the only weapons in the game whose accuracy isn't affected by aiming down sights. Therefore, when aiming, the bullet spread of the weapons become visually wider since the screen zooms in and the crosshair enlarges while the field of view is lowered.
  • The low accuracy of the E-11 Blaster Rifle is a nod to how Stormtroopers frequently miss their shots.
  • When purchasing the E-11 Blaster Rifle from an Imperial Stormtrooper, the player receives the weapon and Uncommon Medium Bullets - Ammunition - Fortnite Medium Bullets.
    • This is likely a leftover from Save the World, due to the weapon using Energy Ammo - Ammunition - Fortnite Energy Ammo (which is unobtainable in Battle Royale), being Uncommon like the rest of the ammunition types in Save the World.
  • During Chapter 3: Season 3 and Chapter 3: Season 4, the E-11 Blaster had a chance to not deal damage when the blaster bolts hit a target. This was fixed when it was re-added in Chapter 5: Season 2.
