Join the battle for the Infinity Stones! Fight as Chitauri and Thanos or wield Avengers items in the Endgame LTM.
v8.50 Patch Notes

Endgame is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was available during the Avengers: Endgame Crossover Event in Season 8.

Overview[]

In Endgame, players are divided into 2 teams: Avengers and Chitauri. The Avengers' objective is to eliminate the Chitauri 150 times to disable their ability to respawn. After that, the Avengers must defeat them and Thanos.

The Chitauri's objective is to collect all the Infinity Stones to disable the Avengers' respawns. Once that's done, they must eliminate the Avengers.

Details[]

General[]

  • Endgame features a team of heroes attempting to stop Thanos and his Chitauri from collecting all six Infinity Stones.
  • Both teams can respawn upon elimination until the opposing side completes their objective.

Team Heroes[]

  • Heroes continue to respawn until the enemy team gathers all six Infinity Stones.
  • Heroes begin with a treasure map that leads directly to a Mythic Avengers weapon.
  • Additional Avengers items can be found inside Chests scattered across the island.
  • The objective for the Hero team is to eliminate the Chitauri army and defeat Thanos.

Team Thanos[]

  • Team Thanos consists of Chitauri Invaders and Thanos himself.
  • Chitauri Invaders are equipped with a powerful laser rifle, anti-structure grenades, and a jetpack that allows brief high jumps.
  • The first Chitauri to recover an Infinity Stone will transform into Thanos.
  • Thanos has a devastating punch, a powerful beam attack, and the ability to leap high into the air and crash down to damage anything in his path.
  • Each Infinity Stone collected increases Thanos' power and grants bonus health to the Chitauri.
    • Reality Stone (Red) – Doubles Thanos’ health and shields (1000 → 2000)
    • Soul Stone (Orange) – Activates Siphon, granting Thanos shield per elimination
    • Mind Stone (Yellow) – Doubles Thanos’ jump height
    • Space Stone (Blue) – Triples AOE of ground slam and increases its damage by 6x
    • Time Stone (Green) – Adds strong knockback to each hit and triples melee damage
    • Power Stone (Purple) – Increases laser beam damage by 6x
  • If Thanos is eliminated, another Chitauri will become him after a short delay (unless he was the last one remaining).

Endgame[]

  • Once all six Infinity Stones are found, Heroes lose the ability to respawn.
  • The goal for Thanos and his forces is to collect all six stones and eliminate the remaining Heroes.

Trivia[]

  • The premise of the gamemode is inspired by the Battle of Earth in Avengers: Endgame.
  • The victory screen used to say "Excelsior!" at the bottom as a tribute to the late Stan Lee. For unknown reasons it was later changed to a rather simple "Victory Royale."
