The Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun is a Shotgun in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 4. It is the Mythic version of the Infiltrator Pump Shotgun.

Functionality[]

The Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun works identically to its standard variant. Its a medium fire rate shotgun with good range and tight spread.

The Infiltrator Pump Shotgun is a hitscan weapon, but fires a spread of 9 pellets when both aiming down sights and hipfiring. Aiming down sights tightens the spread of pellets. Damage falloff:

  • Damage falloff begins at 12 meters (2.4 tiles).
  • Damage decreases down to 55% of its maximum at 30 meters (6 tile).
  • Damage steadily decreases down to 25% of its maximum at 50 meters (10 tiles).
  • It deals damage until 60 meters (12 tiles).

  • The Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun can function similarly to either a Pump Shotgun or an Auto Shotgun, being able to fill either role as the situation calls for it.
  • The Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun is best paired with an SMG or a similar weapon. Fire the Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun, then switch to your SMG to finish off your opponent.
  • The Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun deals higher damage to targets at longer ranges than most other shotguns. When using the Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun, keep 2-3 tiles of distance between you and your opponent to minimize how much damage you take.
  • The Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun benefits heavily from hitting headshots. Always aim for the head with the Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun.
  • The Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun benefits from jumping around your opponent. Not only does the Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun's accuracy remain solid, but SMGs will have a difficult time hitting you consistently.

    • Fire rate reduced from 1.2 down to 0.8.
    • increased damage from 97.2 up to 109.
    • Magazine size reduced from 6 down to 2.
    • Reload time increased from 4.2 up to 5.2.
    • Structure damage increase for 54 up to 104.
    • Now fire a single slug like the Heavy Shotgun but does not use the same reticle.
    • No longer has any damage drop off.
    • Now has a very wide spread when hipfire.
    • Reloads entire magazine when empty and no longer has a partial reload when fired once.

Chapter 5: Season 2[]

  • Update v29.00: Changed the stats of the Infiltrator Pump Shotgun once again.
    • Damage increased from 109 to 144. (max cap make it go to 140 every shot)
    • Reload time decreased from 5.2 down to 3.4.
    • Now has its partial reload like before.
  • Update v29.10: Changed the stats for the third time:[2]
    • Fire rate increased from 0.8 to 1.7.
    • Damage reduced from 144 to 77.
    • Magazine size increased from 2 to 8.
    • Reload time increased from 3.4 to 4.42.
    • It now functions similarly to the Combat Shotgun.
  • Update v29.20: Change the Infiltrator Pump Shotgun for the forth time:[3]
    • Changed the reticle of the Infiltrator Pump Shotgun, now matching the Combat Shotgun.
    • Reduced Max damage Cap matching the Legendary version from 140 to 135.
    • Now reloads faster than intended at 1.72s instead of 4.42.
