The Explosive Goo Gun is an Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 3: Season 4.

The Explosive Goo Gun has a Mythic version called Blitz Boss Ninja's Blue Goo Gun.

Functionality[]

The Explosive Goo Gun fires a trail of explosive goo, which will cover players and structures upon landing. After a short time, the goo will detonate in sequence, with the earliest fired goo detonating first. The goo can also be detonated by gunfire or explosions.

The Explosive Goo Gun fires in 5 round bursts, in very quick succession. The weapon comes with 200 rounds, which is 10 magazines or 40 shots.

The Explosive Goo Gun fires a Projectile which is strongly affected by Gravity.

The Explosive Goo Gun cannot be reloaded whilst aiming.

Stick close to targets when using the Explosive Goo Gun, as its range is very limited.
The Explosive Goo Gun is a 'fire and forget' type weapon, meaning it can be shot and the player can focus attention on something else whilst it detonates.
In Builds mode, get to high ground and use the Explosive Goo Gun while the enemy is healing inside their builds to cause some serious damage without time for the enemy player to run.

Counters[]

Staying within mid-long range when engaged with an opponent wielding the Explosive Goo Gun can be beneficial due to its limited range.
Carrying some form of fast mobility item can also make it hard for an opponent wielding an Explosive Goo Gun to stick you with the explosive Goo.
