The F-11D Blaster is an Submachine Gun in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that was added in Galactic Battle.

The F-11D Blaster has a Mythic version called Captain Phasma's F-11D Blaster.

Functionality[]

The F-11D Blaster fires at a quick fire rate, dealing moderate damage. The weapon has infinite ammo but will overheat after firing a few shots and will need to cool down. The cooldown period can be manually entered by pressing the reload key after shooting for a bit.

The F-11D Blaster can continuously fire for 4.36 seconds or 29 shots before it overheats. This can be extended by waiting a bit between each shot.

The F-11D Blaster is a hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy disabled.

Phasma's Blaster Medallion increases the amount of shots the F-11D Blaster can fire continuously from 29 to 37 and decreases its cooldown time from 1.88s to 1.31s.
Compared to its Chapter 2 predecessor, the F-11D Blaster has a much higher fire rate, tighter spread, and is hitscan, making it much more accurate.
The F-11D Blaster, much like the E-11 Blaster, can be used as an Assault Rifle substitute due to its tighter than average spread for an SMG, although this isn't quite as viable in that specific use-case as the E-11 Blaster.
When choosing between the F-11D Blaster and the E-11 Blaster, keep in mind that the F-11D Blaster is more close range oriented, with a higher fire rate, lower damage, wider spread, and a bit of horizontal recoil with continuous fire, whereas the E-11 Blaster rides the line of an Assault Rifle and an SMG, with higher than average damage and accuracy than an SMG, but lower than average fire rate.

Counters[]

The F-11D Blaster suffers at longer ranges due to its horizontal recoil being very prominent with sustained fire, so using a more suitable weapon at range such as the DLT-19 Blaster Rifle or DC-15 Heavy Blaster Rifle, can be beneficial when engaged with an opponent with an F-11D Blaster.
