Fight the Storm is a type of mission in Fortnite: Save the World that requires players to defend an ATLAS against hordes of Monsters.
Objectives[]

Place the ATLAS. |
| Deploy an ATLAS device on the target. Search for Bluglo. | |

Fortify & Defend |
| Construct a fort around the ATLAS device. Defend while ATLAS laser charges. | |
You have to deposit 1–4 
BluGlo into the ATLAS depending on the amount of ATLASes in the mission. You do not have to deposit BluGlo into each individual ATLAS.

- Floating ATLASes are the best to defend, because they just need lower structural support. After doing this, you can almost ignore the ATLAS unless there are Flingers/Lobbers. Sometimes a roof is good to have with a defender inside.
- If a floating ATLAS falls because of the loss of structural support, the ATLAS will fail. You will then need to restart the entire defense.
- If at anytime 1 or more ATLASes fails, the entire mission must be restarted.
- Be aware of Wildlife and random husks breaking your builds. As a result, do not build until you are ready to defend.
- Don’t take too long to complete the mission. You’ll fail if you take 2 days longer than the Speed Run badge.

Speed Run (2 days or less). - (Category 1 Storm)- Speed Run (3 days or less). - (Category 2 Storm)
- Speed Run (4 days or less). - (Category 3 and 4 Storm)
- Placed ATLAS Quickly. The ATLAS was placed before time expired.
- Fired the ATLAS on the first try.
- Did Not Over Build! You defended without over building!

Category Types[]
- Category 1 Fight the Storm is defending 1 ATLAS.
- Category 2 Fight the Storm is the same mission but you have to defend 2 ATLASes. This is recommended to be completed with 1 - 2 players.
- Category 3 Fight the Storm is with 3 ATLAS. Recommended 3 - 4 players.
- Category 4 Fight the Storm is with 4 ATLASes. It also gives players an excessive amount of rewards if you're up for a challenge!

Trivia[]
- Fight the Storm is the only mission where you can redo the mission if you fail to defend it. (HP hits 1)
- It requires 6 Wood and 1 BluGlo to reboot the ATLAS.
- The Category 4 Fight the Storm also has a "x4" mission type. This is an increase in the power of husks and rewards.
- Category 4 Fight the Storms in 160 zones will give the most rewards.
- Fight the Storm was one of the first missions available during the Alpha phase of Save the World. Back then, it was known as "Close the Gate".
