Coral Castle was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale, added in Chapter 2: Season 3 on the Apollo map. It was located North of Believer Beach and West of Pleasant Park. In Chapter 2: Season 7, being abducted by The Mothership in pieces, with much of the location being inside a low-gravity beam.

Chapter 2: Season 3[]
- Update v13.30:
- August 1st, 2020: Coral Castle is added to the game in place of the large whirlpool that was there prior to its existence. It borders Sharky Shell and is northwest of Sweaty Sands.
Chapter 2: Season 5[]
- Update v15.00: An Imagined Order Elevator may appear here. Fishstick is added as a Character, and has a chance of spawning here
Chapter 2: Season 6[]
- Update v16.00: Fishstick is no longer a character and thus no longer spawns at Coral Castle. Wreck Raider, however, now spawns here instead. IO Elevators no longer spawns here as they have been removed from spawning.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
- Update v17.00: Wreck Raider is no longer a character and thus no longer spawns at Coral Castle. The location also is now northwest of Believer Beach.

- June 22nd (Week 3) - An Alien Artifact is located inside the main building on the upper floor, floating above the middle pillar.
- Update v17.20: A Kymera NPC now spawns here in three separate areas next to several alien containers.
- Content Update v17.30
- August 16th - 2 PM ET - The Mothership arrives above Coral Castle.
- Update v17.40: The Mothership has opened its main hatch and sent the abduction low-gravity beam towards Coral Castle. The smaller building, the pathway building, several other pieces of the overall castle, and a boat are floating in the air, along with lots of debris. Two of The Henchbros have moved here, observing the abduction with a white board and telescope on the small island north of Crash Site. Five IO Camps have been set up on or around the area by the Imagined Order. The Lobby Background was changed to one depicting the abduction.
- August 18th - The floating chunks rotated 90 degrees.
- August 21st - The floating chunks rotated another 90 degrees.
- August 24th - Part of the Castle have been abducted into The Mothership. What remains on the island is rid of the Tractor Beam, and thus the low-gravity effect is gone.
- Four of the IO Camps have disappeared. Those include the three in the location itself and the one in Coral Cove. Interestingly, the one at Crash Site remains. The lobby background has returned to the one viewing The Aftermath.
- Update v17.50:
- September 12th: The abducted chunks have now been destroyed following the explosion of the Countermeasure Devices in The Mothership during Operation: Sky Fire.
Chapter 2: Season 8[]
- Update v18.00: Corruption from Smashed Stronghold reaches a piece of land at Coral Castle. 2 Super Bouncers have crash landed at Coral Castle to allow easy access to get out from the crater.
Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Update v19.00: Coral Castle has been removed after being flipped and submerged.

- In leaks, this location was originally named "The Ruins"
- When this location was originally added, it was called <CARL> but was hotfixed quickly to its current name. It may have been a code name to stop dataminers from finding out the official name early.
- The leaked name given was for the Whirlpool that originally encompassed the area.
- Florida's Stonehedge attempted to sue Epic Games because the name of this POI was trademarked by Florida.
- It was the lowest point on the map, and was that way since it's introduction.
- There used to be a glitch in this POI where a chest on a podium had a 100% Guaranteed Rare Assault Rifle inside.
- A motorboat could be driven up the most southern two waterfalls, making it the only way to get out with a vehicle.
- There were small shells that were lined up in a northern tower that could have been used as horns.
