The Henchbros are a group of five passive Guards in Fortnite: Battle Royale. The Henchbros are each from opposing sides: GHOST, SHADOW, The Last Reality, Imagined Order and The Seven.

Behavior[]
The Henchbros are passive AI, meaning that they will not attack the player unless prompted. If attacked, either by damaging them or their vehicle, they will attack the player until one side is eliminated.
Before Chapter 3: Season 4, The Henchbros would sometimes be seen driving a Prevalent GG2020 with the Radio on. Players can enter this car without being attacked, if there is still room.

Chapter 2: Season 4[]
- At the start of the season, one remaining GHOST Henchman could have been found at GHOST Flowers in Retail Row, appearing to be living in a back room, and seemingly celebrating GHOST winning against SHADOW.
- Similarly, one remaining SHADOW Henchman could have been found at The Authority on the topmost level, where he appeared to be living next to a small shrine of Brutus, and seemed to be crying about SHADOW abandoning the island and leaving him alone.
- Update v14.10: Both of the Henchmen move to Gas N’ Grub and meet. They have a rivalry and have an endless dance off until they are killed or distracted. They appear to have started a bond as they react to each other's dances with a mix of responses - those being cheering, clapping, laughing, and other reactions conveyed through Emotes.
- Update v14.20: The duo seemed to become friends and moved to an unnamed hotel in Lazy Lake, continuing their friendship there. They used Toys, such as the Basketball and enjoyed some food.
- Update v14.30: The two Henchmen moved to the dam/buildings above Hydro 16, they could be spotted walking around the area. Taking in the sights while occasionally using emotes off both edges of Hydro 16's dam. Eventually, they enter the building closest to Misty Meadows, where while the SHADOW Henchman goes to watch TV, the GHOST Henchman glances around the Hydropower Museum and uses one of the viewing telescopes on the look out. After, they group together and head back to the dam.
- Update v14.40: During Fortnitemares 2020, the duo were found around Sweaty Sands simply hanging out. Walking around taking pictures at the pier enjoying various food spots as they go, playing and fishing on the beach shore and in general having a good time. For the duration of the event, they wore alternate heads: The SHADOW Henchmen wore the head of Hollowhead and the GHOST Henchmen wore the head of Jack Gourdon. The GHOST Henchman likely had no correlation with the Ghostly Ghost Henchmen inhabiting The Ruins.
- Update v14.50: The Henchmen moved to Craggy Cliffs, primarily located at Sticks. After getting food, they would wander around Craggy Cliffs and enter in the shops to seemingly buy camping equipment and supplies. Their pumpkin heads were now gone, and instead they both possessed Back Blings: The SHADOW Henchman wore the Precision back bling, while the GHOST Henchman wore the Raptor Satchel.
- Update v14.60: The duo sat together on the edge of the map, east of Camp Cod. They had camping equipment, believed to have been acquired from Craggy Cliffs. The SHADOW Henchman used the Pickin' emote whilst the GHOST Henchman used the Have a Seat emote. They both looked off into the eastern horizon as they waited for Galactus to arrive on the island.
Chapter 2: Season 5[]
- Throughout the season, there was a small chance that the Henchmen duo would spawn out of any of the IO Elevators scattered around the island, both looking disorientated and doing the Confused emote. This was the only place which they could have been found.
Chapter 2: Season 6[]
- Both henchmen were seemingly absent during this season, possibly due to being abducted sometime during it.
Chapter 2: Season 7[]
- Update v17.10: They return in The Mothership's experiment area doing the Confused and Waterworks emotes, seemingly distraught.
- Hotfix: The duo is back on the island, now residing in a small house south of Mount F8; living casually and seemingly laughing at The Seven. Though while unconfirmed this could've also been directed towards The Last Reality.
- Content Update v17.10: The Duo arrives at Risky Reels, watching a movie and hanging out. After a while, the GHOST Henchman suddenly gets the urge "to go", thus the SHADOW Henchman guides him to the bathroom. After, they get some snacks at the stand and continue their hangout.
- Update v17.20: The Duo reappears at Camp Cod. The GHOST Henchman is outside the house resharpening his marksmanship, while the SHADOW Henchman is inside, and seems to be calculating something on a whiteboard while eyeing The Mothership.
- Update v17.30: The Duo makes their way near Slurpy Swamp to overlook its abduction. It would appear the SHADOW Henchman is calculating The Mothership's properties while its going on. GHOST Henchman, however, doesn't seem to understand and simply follows along.
- Update v17.40: The Duo arrives near Coral Castle to watch its abduction as well. Once they walk away from the whiteboard, they go fishing for a bit, and later reminisce back to when they first met at the Gas N’ Grub, even using the same dances they did to each other and playfully laughing along. They later walk to the campfire nearby and do the Hey Now! emote together.
- Update v17.50: The Duo have once again disappeared without a trace.
- Operation: Sky Fire: The Duo can be found trapped inside a chamber with Alien Parasite eggs surrounding them. Following the destruction of The Mothership, both of them can be seen falling next to The Looper as Apollo gets struck with debris and Cubes.
Chapter 2: Season 8[]
- Update v18.00: After the events of Sky Fire, one surviving Trespasser gathered their supplies and took refuge in one of the abandoned houses at Pristine Point. Unlike the Henchmen Duo - whose whereabouts are unknown - they attacked players on sight, presumably due to what happened to The Mothership.
- Update v18.20: After some time to calm themselves, the Trespasser became passive and would no longer open fire unless provoked.
- Update v18.40: Later on during their time on the island, they left their home and walked around the neighborhood, knocking on the houses to see if anyone was inside, seemingly unaware that it was all abandoned.
- The End (Chapter 2): With Apollo getting attacked once again, nearly being destroyed by The Last Reality and flipping over to Artemis, there would appear to be no chance of the survival for the Henchmen Duo or Trespasser. However, they survived.
Chapter 3: Season 3[]
- Update v21.00: Following seasons with no knowledge on their whereabouts, the Henchmen Duo can be found trapped behind a pile of rubble in an unfinished mineshaft within Reality Falls. They befriended the lonely Trespasser and are waiting to be freed. The rubble pile has 5 trillion HP, and can be progressively damaged by players across games. The rubble itself can be "destroyed" by a Cow Catcher modified Car, but will reappear in future games.
- 6/16/2022: The 5 trillion HP rubble pile is destroyed.
- A lone IO Guard was also found at Outcast Outpost, sad and alone after the Imagined Order's devastating defeat.
- Update v21.10: Each game, The Henchbros may appear in 16 different places on the island. All the various activities the Henchbros could engage in include:
- Driving around Artemis and stopping occasionally. If the Prevalent GG2020 that they are traveling in is stolen or destroyed, they will walk instead of drive.
- Excercising inside the Condo Canyon Classy Condos Gym.
- Hosting a Pool Party in Classy Condos Pool.
- Sitting by a Campfire next to Synapse Station.
- Gazing at the ocean near The Perch while listening to the GHOST Henchman's ukelale.
- Above the mountain elevation near Seven Outpost II. Looking over the horizon.
- Looking around at the watchtower near The Glow.
- Watching a movie in the center of Rocky Reels.
- Playing Basketball at the Basketball court in Rocky Reels.
- Playing Soccer in the Tilted Towers Soccer Field above Big Shots.
- Singing Shanty for a Squad in front of Lofty Lighthouse.
- Hosting a Rock Concert at the Sleepy Sound Motel.
- Enjoying food and beverages at the Coney Crossroads SoFDeeZ.
- Flying kites at the beachside near the Unnamed Shark Head.
- Partying inside Rave Cave with the SHADOW Henchman rapping in front of the stage.
- Hiding behind a nearby Bush next to Outcast Outpost. Watching the lonely IO Guard and deciding whether to let him join the group.
- The lone IO Guard is still found at Outcast Outpost, but switched directions when circling the destroyed watchtower.
- Update v21.20: The Henchbros have successfully brought the IO Guard along and are now a full squad! They still do their regular activities and may occasionally split into a random groups of two. With this addition, they no longer have a chance to spawn at Outcast Outpost.
Chapter 3: Season 4[]
- Update v22.00: Despite the growing danger of Chrome, the Henchbros still carry on with their usual activities (excluding the drive around). However, in certain locations, Svenja, a female Seven Guard, can be seen watching them from a short distance, presumably wishing to join their group.
- Update v22.10: The Seven Sentry has joined the group! Upgrading them from a Squad to a Quintet, this also marks her as the first female member of the crew.
- Fracture: While zooming in with the Telescopes used to locate different chunks of various locations, one of the telescopes requires the player to Locate the Henchbros. with the original Henchmen Duo waving at them from their small island chunk far off the island. An IO Guard can also be found in the ruined city, though he is likely not the "Bro" IO Guard, judging by his dialogue.
Chapter 4: Season 1 - Chapter 4: Season 4[]
- Each game, there is a small chance that the Henchbros can be found through Rift Encounters, either camping out as a Quintet, or sitting by a campfire as the original Henchmen Duo, similar to the IO Elevators of Chapter 2: Season 5.
Chapter 4: Season OG[]
- No traces of the Henchbros exist on Athena as they likely remained on Asteria while the story travels back in time to Season 5.
Chapter 5: Season 1[]
- After The Big Bang; The Henchbros fates and whereabouts are unknown as what happened to them after Reality Zero and Asteria collapse is not shown.

- Back in Chapter 2: Season 4. if a player were to aggravate the Henchmen Duo, the two would have a tendency to shoot the other accidentally and cause a fight with each other. This is likely due to the two Henchmen still being part of the GHOST and SHADOW factions internally. However with their friendship getting stronger this was no longer possible in Update v14.30.
- On the Chapter 2: Season 5 Legendary Quests "Eliminate IO Guards", eliminating them would count towards the quest.
- Strangely. The IO Guard battle music would also play if they popped out. Despite not being part of the Imagined Order.
- The GHOST Henchman was also mistakenly named "SHADOW Henchman" When looking in Battle labs or eliminated by him.
- The Henchmen Duo did not make an appearance in Chapter 2: Season 6, Chapter 2: Season 8, Chapter 3: Season 1 or Chapter 3: Season 2, while the Trespasser didn't make an appearance in the first two seasons after Chapter 2: Season 8.
- If separated, one of the henchmen will sometimes teleport to the other.
- If one of the Henchmen Duo were eliminated during Chapter 2: Season 4 or Chapter 2: Season 7, the other will sometimes start doing the Waterworks emote.
- On July 30th 2021, Two Outfits named the GHOST Enforcer and SHADOW Enforcer were released with ties to the duo.
- The following day, July 31st 2021 would see the release of the Hey Now! emote with the two Henchmen in the promotional video.
- The Trespasser was the only member to still retain his Faction's combat music, albeit was very quiet. However it was removed when he became passive.
- The IO Guard had a very rare chance to spawn further away from Outcast Outpost before joining the Henchbros, right at where they stand while watching him. This is likely tied to their Outcast Outpost appearance however the chance appearance was removed when the IO Guard joined.
- In the Chapter 3: Season 3 No Sweat Summer Quests challenge "Make a Character dance to a Boogie Bomb”, using a Boogie Bomb on them would count towards the quest.
- After the Seven Sentry joined. If she appears near Seven Outpost II she can be seen waving a red flag with The Resistance's Banner on it. Currently this Resistance Banner is unobtainable.
- On October 16th 2022, Two Outfits named Svenja and Order Remnant were released. The latter's description alluding to the Henchbros.
- Two days later on October 18th 2022, A Outfit called Trespasser Defector was released. Completing the Quintet after so many months.
