Launchpad was a Landmark in Fortnite: Battle Royale added in Chapter 3: Season 1 to the island Artemis. The landmark can be found west of Sanctuary, north of The Joneses, and directly south of The Ruins.
Overview[]
It is an island with two buildings and seven "launch-pads". Various other equipment can also be found around the location. It is currently operated by The Seven, and The Visitor currently can be found as a Character here.
History[]
Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Update v19.00: Launchpad was added to the map. The Visitor can be found here as a Character.
- Update v19.01
- December 24th 2021 (~2 AM) - A Rocket has been prepped for launch at one of the launch pads.
- December 26th 2021 - The Rocket has launched.
- Content Update v19.01 - 2
- January 11th 2022 - The Rocket has returned and the hatch has closed
- Update v19.10
- January 21st - A second Rocket has been prepped for launch at one of the launch pads.
- January 23rd - The Rocket has launched.
- Update v19.20
- A visual glitch had occurred where the launch pad is both open and closed at the same time.

- February 25th - The third Rocket has been prepped for launch at one of the launch pads.
- February 27th - The Rocket has launched.
- Update v19.40
- March 15th - The third Rocket has returned.

- Update v21.00: The Landmark was spray-painted vibrant colors to fit the theme of the season.

- Research Lab Pegasus has been created under the southern building in the location.

- A Floating Runway appeared hovering over the location.

- The Driftwood has floated over next to Launchpad in the air.

- Launchpad was destroyed by The Herald during the Live Event; A pod with a rocket could have been seen during the The Zero Point's reawakening.
