- — Origin's Anthem lyrics
The Origin is the field tactician and commander of The Seven and the former Cube King of The Last Reality that ran away due to the dark power of the Cubes.
He is one of the three tetartagonists (alongside The Paradigm and The Visitor) of Fortnite: Battle Royale serving as a minor, yet pivotal unseen character of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, and one of the two tetartagonists (alongside The Imagined) of Chapter 3.
Personality[]
The Origin is strict and serious, commonly called old and grumpy by other members of The Seven. He is very experienced and earned his field tactician by watching countless Worlds end.
Appearance[]
The Origin[]
As The Origin, His default style is the prisoner outfit that he wore during his time in the IO prison. The number "07" can be found on the outfit. Corruption Cubes and Golden Cubes emitting from his body.
His Seven style looks just like other members of the Seven, except for something that looks like his Cube King Crown floating near his shoulders.
The Cube King[]
As The Cube King, He has a similar armor to The Cube Queen with the addition of a flaming crown emitting cubes, flaming hands, and Sideways wings at his back.

Week 1[]

---|---|
Ah, you must be The Scientist's contractor. | |
They call me The Origin, The Seven's field general and tactician. | |
Do you know how I earned that job? | |
By watching countless worlds end. And by my calculations, this one is next. | |
It's in your best interest to earn my trust. | |
Start with a security sweep of our forward camps. Now. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
This camp is secure. You're clear to proceed. | |
Area's clear. Keep moving. | |
The Scientist said you'd be trustworthy. And so far he's right. | |
But his confidence can be... misplaced, on occasion. |
Week 2[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Our engineers had plans to give the battle buses a tactical upgrade... | |
But their convoy was intercepted in the field and the schematics blew away in the scuffle. | |
I need you to find those blueprints before the Imagined Order does. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Upgraded battle buses won't win us this war. But, c'mon... you know you want to drive one. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
We want to study the new ballistic-resistant alloy the Imagined Order is using to build their tanks. | |
Bring me some tank armor as quickly as you can. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Great work. The Scientist will start working on this right away. |
Week 3[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
We've been planning an attack near the Imagined Order's new anti-tank barricades. | |
They must think we're making tanks of our own... Which means we can surprise them. | |
Clear our path by driving a cow catcher through their tank barriers. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Our new tech program will overcome the Imagined Order. Nice work, Looper. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
We're training some new snipers in our ranks and I've heard you're quite the sharpshooter. | |
Take down those targets and show them how it's done. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Nice shot. | |
Bullseye. | |
You're the kind of person I want our recruits to look up to. | |
Maybe after that display, they'll stop asking about her... |
Week 4[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Slip through their perimeter by approaching Logjam by water. | |
Once you're in, plant our communication relays to jam their comms. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
One jammer placed. | |
Second jammer, online. | |
Signal suppressor is active. We're officially hijacking their airwaves. Nice work. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Apparently, Loopers sympathetic to the Imagined Order are losing faith in Slone and her forces. | |
They've offered to provide us with insider intel. We can't verify it, but we'll take what we can get. | |
Retrieve their data packet from the dead drop marked on your map. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
We'll cross-reference this data with our existing recon database. | |
Hopefully this intel is real. We'll need every advantage for the battle ahead. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Excellent news from the front. We're experiencing a swell of new Looper enlistment. | |
With exponentially larger forces, we'll need to streamline our tactics to work effectively. | |
Use these laser target designators to help our recruits focus fire. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Laser locked on target. | |
Target acquired. | |
I have hope that this new Looper enthusiasm will help us win... If they remain loyal. |
Week 7[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Very funny prank with the loudspeakers. But I have a new mission for you. | |
Our ballistics lab have created some very convincing Imagined Order dummy shells. | |
We'd like you to swap out the live shells for our blanks at key munition storage sites. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Virtually indistinguishable. That's one swap down. | |
This should provide our forces at Tilted Towers valuable time to regroup. |
Week 8[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
So, you helped the Imagined contact the Paradigm. I knew I couldn't trust you completely. | |
That being said... I've listened to Paradigm's message. If she's right... | |
If she really has detected energy fluctuations with that signature... We're in dire straits. | |
I need you to pick up a sensor backpack and go to Loot Lake. Confirm, or hopefully...refute her findings. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
Got it! ...That's not good. | |
(to the room) Someone get The Scientist in here, now! | |
We're in trouble. Big. Trouble. |
Week 9[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
ORIGIN: So Jones has filled you in on our plans to repair the Mech. Good. | |
Between you and I, getting that mech moving is our only hope. | |
Repairs are underway, but... After the way we treated The Paradigm, I don't know if she'll pilot it. | |
We're communicating now, but there's work to be done. | |
If she refuses to help, we'll still need a pilot. And you've proven your loyalty to all of us. | |
I need you to complete our pilot tryouts: trials in speed, agility, and climbing. Good luck. | |
ORIGIN: I've recorded your score. You can move to the next trial. | |
ORIGIN: Okay. Let's see the next one. | |
ORIGIN: Good work, Looper. We'll tabulate your results. | |
Even if The Paradigm comes back, she might need a co-pilot... |
Week 10[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
ORIGIN: We don't have a lot of time. This is URGENT, Looper. | |
The strange machine in Loot Lake is activated with two keys and we've located both of them. | |
I need you to break into the Imagined Order locations on your map and steal them. Now. | |
ORIGIN: You've got one? (over radio to The Foundation) Sitrep, Foundation: They've got one. | |
(to player) Keep moving. We need both. | |
ORIGIN: With these keys, we should be able to reverse-engineer what they're planning. | |
You did good work today. Reality-saving work, maybe. |
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
ORIGIN: Thank you for cutting IO's power. Their security systems are now in safe boot mode. | |
Now we can log-on into an IO holo-table to simulate the effects of the machine at Loot Lake. | |
You'll need to use a generator and the two control keys you collected earlier. | |
Head to the marker on your map, plug everything in, and I'll input the override password. Hurry. | |
ORIGIN: Generator is live. | |
ORIGIN: One more key... | |
ORIGIN: Activate the simulation. | |
ORIGIN: Everything in the Loop. Gone. Just like that. | |
I won't watch another world end. We're going to win this. |
Week 11[]
Audio | Subtitle |
---|---|
ORIGIN: We need to launch a final attack on the Imagined Order as soon as possible. | |
I haven't heard back from The Paradigm. But at this point, we can't wait any longer. | |
Activate the Seven emergency beacon. It's time to fight for our lives. | |
ORIGIN: This is it. The war for Reality ends now. | |
See you on the other side, Looper. |
