Fortnite Shorts are short films released by Epic Games relating to Fortnite. They have been used to promote cosmetics but at the Fortnite Summer Block Party, the Shorts involved stories.
The Chase[]
The Chase was a short released on April 18th 2020 as a promo for the Siren and Wolf Outfits.
In this, Wolf searches for Siren who runs out in the shadows. Wolf follows her as the Short finishes.
Bassassin[]
The Chase was a short released on March 26th 2020 as a promo for the Bassassin Quest Pack.
In this, Shadow Meowscles is defending a office when Contract Giller distracts him with a ball of string. Meowscles runs off, allowing Contract Giller to enter the office. He turns to the camera as the Short ends.
Slurp Legends[]
Slurp Legends was a short released on March 19th 2020 as a promo for the Slurp Legends Pack.
In this, we see Jonesy, Bandolette and Leviathan enter a system of tubes filled with Slurp. They exit to become Slurp Jonesy, Slurp Bandolette and Slurp Leviathan. We see Chaos Agent celebrating in the background as the short finishes.
Going Ice Fishin'[]
Going Ice Fishin' was a short released on December 30th 2019 as a promo for Winterfest 2019.
In this, we see Frozen Fishstick and Polar Patroller fishing on two ends of an iceberg. Polar Patroller has something on the line (which is infact Frozen Fishstick's Fishing Rod) and they wrestle to catch each other. Polar Patroller wins, throwing Frozen Fishstick into the water, however he is confused with no catch. After the initial short ends, we see Frozen Fishstick stuck in an icecube in the water.
Peely Bone Rises[]
Peely Bone Rises was a short released on October 31st, 2019 as a promo for Fortnitemares and Peely Bone.
In this, we see Ghoul Trooper (Zombie Style) reach out from a grave. What we see as Peely helps her out of it. He reveals that he is not Peely but in fact Peely Bone! We hear a scream and Peely Bone plays his Built-in Emote, Xylo-bone.
Bus Fulla Tomatoes[]
Bus Fulla Tomatoes was a short released on October 31st, 2019 as a short story.
In this, we see a Jonesy enter a bus filled completely with Tomatoheads. One of them steps out of their seat to offer Jonesy a seat next to him. Jonesy walks over cautiously and sits down. He smiles relucantly as the Tomatohead puts his hand over Jonesy's head.
P-1000[]
P-1000 was a short released on September 27th 2019 as a short story.
In this, we see Jonesy hammering in a cave, in reference to Marvel's Iron Man origin. He looks up at the Peely Smoothie and we cut to P-1000 exiting the cave and shooting at Verge and one other.
Block Party Shorts[]
The Fortnite Summer Block Party was a 2 Day Live Event on June 15-16th 2019 that involved the Creative Showdown and Celebrity Pro-Am. During this, they released multiple Story Shorts.
Wavy People[]
In Wavy People, we see Twistie and Bendie dance around.
Team Outfit[]
In Team Outfit, we see Omen, Ravage and Oblivion enter the lobby and say intimidating lines. Suddenly, a Fishstick enters saying "Hello!" It agrues why it should keep this Outfit and it ends with it changing. He re-enters as the Mullet Marauder and the rest of the squad leaves.
Banana Rift[]
In Banana Rift, we see Jonesy eating a Banana whilst passing by a Rift. He looks back and reaches out to touch it. However, he enters it and it backfires with him exiting as Peely.
Desert Island Flare[]
In Desert Island Flare, we see Castaway Jonesy stranded on an island whilst the Battle Bus passes by overheard. He shouts at to it. Then, he sees a box marked with Flare Gun which he opens. He fires the Flare Gun but it hits the Battle Bus. It plummets into the water and he receives a Victory Royale. He slowly leaves the frame...
Many thought in June, 2020 that this was a teaser for Chapter 2: Season 3 as a leaked icon showed the same shaped island as this short. However, this location could not be found in-game but the map had flooded.
