The Daily Bugle was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Update v19.00. The Daily Bugle could have been found at the southwest of Sanctuary and south of The Temple.
Overview[]
The Daily Bugle is made of a section of New York City inside a dormant Volcano. There are 3 buildings, one being the main Daily Bugle Building, alongside two apartments.
During Chapter 3: Season 2, there was an IO Airship over it and was a battleground between The Imagined Order and The Seven, where The Seven ended victorious.
History[]
Chapter 3: Season 1[]
- Update v19.00: The Daily Bugle has been added.
Chapter 3: Season 2[]
- Update v20.00: IO Airship - Daily appears above the location. The Daily Bugle has been left untouched in which under control by the Imagined Order. Peely now spawns here as a Character In the hotel building.
- Update v20.10: The Resistance attack The Daily Bugle in the Help The Seven Reclaim Encounters. 3 Stages of battle against IO Guards, IO Patrol and IO Hunter are added.
- Content Update v20.10: The Seven is victorious and has captured The Daily Bugle. The IO Blimp has crashed in the ocean east of the location. GHOST Flags appear at the location.
- Update v20.30: The GHOST flag has been replaced by a Seven flag. Doctor Strange appears here as a Character.
Chapter 3: Season 3[]
- Update v21.30: Added The Daily Bloomgle landmark in front of the main building.
- August 9th 2022 A Reality Root with a pre-bloom reality tree has emerged at The Daily Bugle, becoming a landmark known as The Daily Bloomgle.
- Update v21.40: The Reality Root has turned The Daily Bugle into Lazy Lagoon. The Daily Bugle sign still remains.

- Pictures of Green Goblin, X-Men, Loki and Miles Morales can be seen on the newspaper textures.
- A low quality picture of a poster of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man can also be seen at the Daily Bugle. Whether this is a reference or a teaser is currently unknown.
- It is the first Named Location to have 3 words in its name.
- Despite being a collaboration location, it still stands in Chapter 3: Season 2 and Chapter 3: Season 3 before finally being removed in Update v21.40.
- Lasting nearly 3 seasons, The Daily Bugle is the longest lived collaboration location.
