Force Abilities are a type of item and game mechanic in Fortnite: Battle Royale that were introduced in Chapter 4: Season 2.

Functionality[]

Force Abilities can only be used when wielding a Jedi Padawan, Sith Apprentice or Jedi Training Lightsaber.

Unlike other items, Force Abilities cannot be dropped from the player's inventory after being picked up, and will not drop when the player is eliminated.

Force Training
Use the Force to Sprint faster and to Double Jump. Requires a Lightsaber.

Force Push
Use the Force to blast away objects in front of you. Requires a Lightsaber.

Force Pull
Use the Force to pull objects to you. Requires a Lightsaber.

Force Throw
Use the Force to throw nearby objects at your enemies. Requires a Lightsaber.

Force Lightning
Use the Force to channel lightning at your enemies. Requires a Lightsaber.

Force Saber Throw
Throw a Lightsaber and use the Force to pull it back to your hand. Requires a Lightsaber.

  • Force Push:
    • Can be used to push opponents away from you in order to prepare or to run away.
    • Can be used to push opponents into the Storm.
    • Can pull Reboot Cards towards you in order to not lose cover.
    • If in The Storm, you can use the Force Pull ability to pull opponents into The Storm with you.
  • Force Throw:
    • Can throw Gas Cans and Vehicles (besides Semi Trucks) at the opponent to deal more damage.
    • Instantly destroys structures infront of the player when casting the ability.
  • The Force Lightning:
    • Can disable Vehicles similar to an EMP, so you can use this ability if an enemy is trying to use a vehicle against you.
  • Force Saber Throw:
    • Can break almost all structures, so you can use it in box fights or you can use it to damage opponents who are hiding behind a structure.
