Gameplay
Standard modes of Battle Royale consist of 100 players dropping out of the Battle Bus to compete in Solo, or in Teams to be the last one standing, gaining the Victory Royale.
All players start with only their Glider and a Pickaxe. Once on the ground, players must scavenge buildings, their surrounding areas, and chests to find weapons and items for survival. Players will then have to kill up to 99 opponents and avoid getting killed by them.
The Storm, which acts like a barrier moves and restricts the "Safe Zone." The Storm, or called "The Zone" will damage you if you are in it, to force players to stay in the Eye of The Storm.
You must also destroy structures like Houses and Trees to gain Building Materials (also known as "mats"), and build structures to block damage. Excelling in building and editing at fast speeds can result in victories in most scenarios.
Seasons
- Main article: Seasons
Battle Royale features periods of times called Seasons, lasting for 3 months on average. With each one, gameplay, map changes and new features are all changed. Additionally, for length of the season a player can progress a "Battle Pass" - a track of cosmetic items that are unlocked through gameplay. Players can use real-life money to unlock a premium version of it, earning fancier rewards.
