Fortnite: Reload, or simply Reload is a game mode in Fortnite that was released on June 22nd 2024. It is a fast-paced and action-packed version of Battle Royale in Squads and Duos. Players are automatically rebooted as long as other Team Members are alive. Reload is available in Zero Build and Battle Royale.

Map

The Map in Reload is much smaller compared to standard Battle Royale, with only a few named POIs present, many of which either returned or were remakes of POIs on the Athena island.

Update v30.20

Elimination

Unlike Battle Royale or Zero Build, where players must reboot their teammates via Reboot Vans, players will automatically be revived as long as one squad member is alive in-game. Players are given a Reboot Timer upon elimination, and can be reduced depending on how well your squad does (for example, knocking an opponent will reduce you timer by 2 seconds, eliminating them by 4, and eliminating a full team by 10). Once the timer hits 0, the rebooted player will be rifted from the sky to drop back down into the match. After a certain point in the match, Reboot Timers will be disabled, though your Reboot Timer will finish even if this happens while you are eliminated.

	Fortnite Reload Details Fortnite Reload is a 40-player, Squads only, fast-paced Battle Royale game. If you're eliminated you'll have the chance to rift back over the course of the match until the reboot timer expires. So long as one member of the team remains, your squad can reboot back into the action. - When eliminated, an individual reboot timer starts. There is a very slim chance (1/10,000 or 0.0001% chance) that you will get all five Heisted weapons from one Chest or Supply Drop in this gamemode.
Midas' Drum Gun (OG) and Skye's Assault Rifle can also be found in this gamemode with a 1/7000 or 0.00014% chance from looting a Chest or Supply Drop. The same goes for other Mythics on the map (excluding The Foundation's MK-Seven Assault Rifle, Enhanced Havoc Shotgun, and the Overclocked Pulse Rifle with a 1/10000 or 0.0001% chance, The Mythic Goldfish having a 1/1000 or 0.001 chance of getting one, The Ageless Champion’s Shockwave Hammer having a 1/5000 or 0.0002 chance of getting one)
All Heisted weapons excluding the Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle have a 1/5000 or 0.0002% chance of getting one. The Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle has a 1/11111 or 0.00009 chance to get one, making it the rarest Exotic to get. It somehow is also the rarest gun in the entire gamemode.
The Dub, Shadow Tracker, Hop Rock Dualies, and the Chug Cannon all have a 1/3333 or 0.0003 chance of getting one.
Fortnite: Reload was made in less than a month, only starting development somewhere around late May 2024. This was most likely due to Chapter 5: Season 3 having the lowest player peak of Chapter 5.^[1]
Fortnite: Reload has the same jingle when you discover a POI as the one from Chapter 4: Season OG and Fortnite OG (core gamemode) if exploring the Venture map, or the current Battle Royale season jingle of exploring the Oasis map.
