Fortnite Community Battles are a series of events that take place bimonthly, and allows participants to battle for their chosen team in order to earn rewards such as Sprays, V-Bucks, Emoticons, Banners, Wraps, and Harvesting Tools.
The winning team in each battle is determined based on the amounts of points earned by each team. Team members can earn points by completing in-game actions, which are different for each series of Community Battles. Players are removed as participants if they are inactive for the event.
There have also been similar community events/challenges that had occurred before the official introduction of the Community Battles, these include the Autumn Queen's Quest and the Fishing Frenzy.
