Frostnite is a Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Save the World, that is available during the Frozen Fjords Venture Season.

Your Mission is to...
Survive Frostnite!
	Defend the Burner
	Restore its health and push back the storm by refueling it with BluGlo!
	Scavenge and collect Supply Drops
	Your backpack and starting gear is limited.
	Survive as long as you can!
	You will be extracted when the team is eliminated or the Burner is destroyed.

Welcome to Frostnite
Survive as long as possible while keeping the Burner fueled with BluGlo.

Players must keep the Burner filled with scavenged BluGlo for 30 waves as it progressively loses health on its own.
- As the Burner's health decreases, the Storm Shield shrinks, requiring players to keep it filled.
- When the Burner reaches below 25% health, Lok sends out a BluGlo Supply Drop for the players to aid them.
Players must survive as long as possible without their gear or resources, relying on survival skills, schematics, and basic starting weapons.
- Double the resources can be gathered by searching and harvesting objects.
- Supply Drops appear between waves, providing vital supplies for players.
- Weapons and traps are not retained after the experience ends, encouraging players to use their weapons and traps strategically.
Krampus Smashers can be found in the cold regions. They are dangerous but drop much-needed BluGlo.
When a player is knocked out, they enter spectator mode until the remaining players complete the wave.
- If all players go down, the mission ends.
- If a player is Solo and gets eliminated during a wave, the mission also ends.
The longer players survive, the more Snowflake Tickets they will earn. These tickets can be used to purchase Holiday Llamas.
Weekly Challenges are made available each week for players to complete.

December 30th 2018: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 1 - Slip Out.
- Touching snow or ice will cause players to slide.

January 8th 2019: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 2 - Burn Bright.
- Time between enemy waves is drastically reduced. Use your time wisely!

January 15th 2019: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 3 - New Wave Holiday.
- Each wave of enemies contains all of the same types. Defeat enough of the same type of enemy to proceed to the next wave.
Also added a new Power Level 128 zone for end-game players.
- This zone will be available to players who have reached the end of Twine Peaks.
- Added the new Frost Knight Quest which grants a Banner Icon.
Increased Frostnite XP, Gold, and Ticket rewards, especially at later waves, to better incentivize longer survival times.
Changed which Storm Shield Defense quests unlock the Frostnite zones, so players should see more appropriately leveled zones.
Fixed text formatting of HUD wavelength objectives.

January 22nd 2019: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 4 - Cold Chaos.
- Enemies receive a certain combination of mutators per wave:
  - Quickened
  - Enraged
  - Exploding Deathburst
  - Frenzied Deathburst
  - Smoke Screens

January 29th 2019: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 5 - Uncharted Territory.
- The Map and Minimap are disabled.

February 5th 2019: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 6 - Trap Attack.
- Traps are buffed but enemies ricochet back any ranged damage.

February 14th 2019: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 7 - Top It Off.
- The storm shrinks much faster and is more damaging.

February 19th 2019: Introduced Weekly Frostnite Challenge 8 - Final Frost.
- Combines previous Frostnite Weekly Challenges:
  - Slip Out
  - New Wave Holiday
  - Cold Chaos
  - Uncharted Territory
  - Top It Off

December 12th 2019: Frostnite has returned.
- New Quests added.
- Total number of waves reduced from 30 to 20.
