Chapter 6: Mini Season 1, also referred to as Chapter 6: Season MS1 or Season 35, was the thirty-fifth season of Fortnite: Battle Royale, and the third season/first mini season of Chapter 6. It began on May 2nd 2025 and concluded on June 7th 2025 immediately following the Death Star Sabotage Live Event.
The entire season was a collaboration with Star Wars with the slogan Galactic Battle (stylized as GALACTIC BATTLE), themed around an invasion by the Galactic Empire.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
GALACTIC BATTLE
A new world has been unleashed! With the aid of the cunning BARON FLETCHER KANE, the MASK MAKER DAIGO has opened a portal to the mysterious SPIRIT REALM — convinced he alone can save ONINOSHIMA.
Though THE LOOPER fought valiantly to stop them, their efforts were in vain; once the Baron was defeated, the Mask Maker abandoned his ally and crossed the threshold... but the DARKNESS within the Spirit Realm twisted him, corrupting his being and transforming him into a powerful demon.
Meanwhile, the Island drew the gaze of a dark force from beyond the stars. From the shadows of the Galaxy, an evil emperor advances — bringing with him the ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Its destination: Oninoshima. Its purpose: total domination...Story
I: Imperial Takeover
An all-out war erupts in the skies above Oninoshima, with Rebel forces clashing with Imperial Star Destroyers as the Death Star looms far away in space. Both the Rebellion and the Galactic Empire established bases on the Island, with Rey and Emperor Palpatine appearing as holograms to recruit the Island's inhabitants to their respective causes through Rift Gates.
Hidden data entries reveal that Palpatine had pinned his interest in the "junk" scattered across the Island. The Rebellion finds themselves outgunned and overwhelmed by the Empire, forcing them to come up with a plan for a counteroffensive, and fast.
II: The Pull of the Force
Leia Organa recruits The Looper to investigate the motive behind the Empire's attack on the Island, leading them to a secret Imperial cache hidden away in the mountains. The Looper collects the data there and returns to Leia with the information. She informs The Looper to start gathering allies in preparation for an immediate counterattack. In the meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo also arrive on the Island to recruit and train allies as Chewbacca battles Stormtroopers on the ground, while Jar Jar Binks provides a morale boost to the Clone Troopers situated there.
III: Mandalorian Rising
A squadron of warriors from the planet of Mandalore arrive on the Island in search of evidence that would prove the disloyalty of their latest associates. The Looper is recruited to scour Imperial Outposts on their behalf, where they discover that the associates had allied with the Empire and are plotting to betray the Mandalorians. Their suspicions validated, the Mandalorians consider working with new associates.
Restored Spirit Realm Portal
Meanwhile, the Spirit Realm Portal that was destroyed during Daigo's fierce confrontation with Shogun X was mysteriously reconstructed and reactivated itself with a familiar energy ignited from its remains, as the voices of the Demon Warriors echo out from the growing dark magic.
IV: Star Destroyer Bombardment
In an effort to demoralize the Rebels with a display of their overwhelming firepower and might, the Empire sends a lone Star Destroyer right above the Island to bombard various locations and reduce them to rubble. Leia Organa, overseeing the battle from a Rebel Outpost, finalizes plans to take the battle directly to the Death Star as the space station aims its superlaser directly at the Island.
V: Death Star Sabotage
Jones and Hope lead a squadron of Loopers safely onto the Death Star by posing as a prisoner convoy, allowing them to disembark their X-Wings and TIE Fighters without being noticed. They disguise themselves as Stormtroopers and prisoners in order to evade patrol and reach the defense mechanisms to disable them. The group rendezvous at the armory and arm themselves with E-11 Blasters and DLT-19 Blaster Rifles, where they learn that the Island is being looted by the Empire.
The group advances further into the space station to disable their weapons systems, allowing Blue Squadron to make a bombing run that compromises and dooms the Death Star. A pair of Stormtroopers confront Jones, who unsuccessfully attempts to brainwash them by using the Force before eliminating them with his blaster. The group fight through hordes of Stormtroopers as they evacuate to their ships, but they get caught in the crossfire when a downed TIE Fighter crashes into the bridge and separates Hope from the rest of them. Before he loses contact with her, Jones tells Hope to leave them behind and save herself.
Emperor Palpatine confronts Jones and the Loopers, deflecting their blaster fire with his lightsaber before using the Force to take their weapons away. He then wipes out most of the group by throwing TIE Fighters at them, as well as choking and electrocuting them with the Force. Hope arrives with a Rift-To-Go and throws it at Palpatine's Force Lightning, rifting them back above the Island as Blue Squadron torpedoes the Death Star into oblivion. The resulting explosion sends debris hurling towards the Island's surface, with one meteor striking a Spirit Realm Portal. This creates a beam protruding up into the sky, as well as a shockwave that knocks the squad out.
The effects of the damaged Portal catch Superman's attention from outer space...
Battle Pass
The Galactic Battle Pass costs 
1,000 V-Bucks, with an additional 10-level boost being offered for 1,750 V-Bucks with the Battle Pass Bundle. Fortnite Crew subscribers immediately unlock the Battle Pass alongside the OG Pass, Music Pass, and LEGO® Pass. Battle Pass levels require 80,000 
or up to 40 rewards can be claimed for 150 V-Bucks each, with the first 10 levels being discounted by 50%.
Like Chapter 4: Season OG's OG Pass and Chapter 2 Remix's Remix Pass, the standard Battle Pass has 50 rewards.

Update v35.00
May 2nd 2025
- The Death Star has arrived at the Island, appearing very large on the horizon. Several Imperial Star Destroyers are around the Island, surrounded by battling TIE Fighters and X-Wings. Four new Star Wars themed Named Locations have been added, separated in each corner of the Island:
- First Order Base (replacing Demon's Dojo)
- Outpost Enclave (replacing Hopeful Heights)
- Resistance Base (replacing Whiffy Wharf)
- Vader Samurai's Solitude (replacing Shogun's Solitude)
- Several Outposts have been added around the Island.
- Republic Outposts are scattered around the southeast corner of the Island.
- Rebel Outposts are scattered around the northwest corner of the Island.
- Imperial Outposts are scattered around the southwest corner of the Island.
- First Order Outposts are scattered around the northeast corner of the Island.
- An AT-AT site has appeared on the mountains southeast of Brutal Boxcars, becoming a restaurant for all kinds of foods, called eAT-eAT.
- A small rebel table has appeared on the small island northwest of Fightin' Frogs and the Frog Family are now wearing rebel helmets.
- The side of the wall beside the waterfall of Canyon Crossing has collapsed, leaving a destructible rock pile leading into a small cave.
- The Train has been changed back to its previous design.
- The underground mining area of Shiny Shafts has caved in and became inaccessible.
- The vault door in Lonewolf Lair has been removed and the vault has been emptied.
- Two of the golden wolf statues in Outlaw Oasis and the hidden trapdoor have been removed, making the secret room underneath inaccessible.
- The large pickle growing in the Kappa Kappa Factory has disappeared.
- The Crime City Bank, Seaport City Bank, and Masked Motorway Bank have all been demolished.
- Seaport City Bank and Masked Motorway Bank have been replaced with construction sites while only a bunch of craters remain in place of Crime City Bank.
- All three Black Markets have been closed down, with their entryways being blocked off and made unbreakable.
- Mine Entrance 1, Mine Entrance 2, and Mine Entrance 3 have all caved in and became inaccessible.
- They still retain the Landmark status.
- All Smash N' Grab Jewelry Stores have been ransacked and emptied.
- The Pit, The Living Forest, and The Dead Pool were removed, with Sleepwalker's Camp replacing The Living Forest.
- All the underground tunnels in Masked Meadows were redirected back to Daigo's Workshop.
- The Spirit Realm Portal at Magic Mosses has been destroyed.
- Forecast Towers now are guarded by squads of Imperial Stormtroopers lead by AWR Troopers.
- Ammo Boxes were removed for the first time.
- Underground areas in Shiny Shafts were removed.

- Darth Vader and his Lambda-Class Shuttle now randomly appear between three different locations:
- Vader Samurai's Solitude.
- The Imperial Outpost in front of the Big Bend.
- The Imperial Outpost east of Foxy Floodgate.
- The craters in Crime City were filled up and construction began over it.
- The Spirit Realm Portal at Predator Peak has begun being magically repaired with electrical energy.

- Darth Vader and his Lambda-Class Shuttle have returned to Vader Samurai's Solitude.
May 22nd 2025
- The llama hologram in the Resistance Base has been replaced with a hologram of the Death Star.
- A hologram of a Star Destroyer has been displayed in the main building of Vader Samurai's Solitude.
- More energy has begun to surge through the Predator Peak Portal.

- Two landing pads and an event timer were added to the Rebel Outpost northwest of Brutal Boxcars.

- All three of them were collaborations with a Disney-owned property, with Chapter 2: Season 4 and Chapter 5: Season 4 being collaborations with Marvel.
- ...was first announced during Star Wars Celebration LIVE! 2025 - DAY 3.
- ...is the second season to be advertised to only by its slogan, the first was Chapter 2 Remix.
- It is also the first to be internally referred to as a mini-season.

- According to survey of May 10th 2025 asking for what people think is the official season name, Epic is considering that Galactic Battle may be Chapter 6: Season 3, with 4 of the 8 possible answers referring to it a such.
- Of the eight answers, none match the advertised title. However, two of them contain the term Galactic Battle: the first is "Fortnite Star Wars: Galactic Battle", the second is "Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 3: Star Wars Galactic Battle".
- This survey was potentially here in response to the fact that many people are considering the season to be Chapter 6: Season 3 instead of Chapter 6: Mini Season 1, causing general confusion.
- The opening shot of the cinematic trailer for Chapter 6: Mini Season 1 is a reference to the opening shot of Star Wars (1977).
- With the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 on 5th June 2025, players only had three days of this season on the newer console.
- It is also the first Battle Royale season to be avaliable on Nintendo Switch 2, but only for three days.
